Be honest. Is it patience or is it tolerance?

Because those two things feel the same from the inside but they are completely different. Patience means you are moving toward something. Tolerance means you stopped moving and started adjusting to what you said you would never accept.

And the hardest part is that tolerance is quiet. It does not feel like giving up. It feels like being understanding. Being the bigger person. Being strong. Until one day you look up and realize you have been strong for something that was never worth your strength.
