This Saturday was a special one!!

We took Active Mobility outside the gym walls and hopped on over to Land Park! We’re grateful for this community and mornings like these, especially when they start with @tranice_perry 💫

🎃 COSTUME CLASS CRAWL + HALLOWEEN PARTY 🎃

It’s time to get a little weird, a little sweaty, and VERY festive!!

Join us Saturday, October 24th from 3:30–5:30PM for the Packtober Costume Class Crawl. Three 30-minute classes, three different ways to move, ONE ticket.

Your afternoon includes:
⚡ Sculpt
⚡ Mobility
⚡ Lift

This is your chance to try a class you’ve never taken, meet a new instructor, and experience a different side of Power Pack... all while hanging with your favorite people.

ONE SIGN-UP & WE ORGANIZE THE REST:

Sign up through Mindbody and we’ll assign your starting point and class order. Just show up ready to move!

COSTUMES ARE ENCOURAGED! Bring your friends, family, workout buddy, or whoever you want to spend Halloween with. No masks or face paint, please.

When the class crawl is over, the party continues. Join us in the back community space for a Halloween party + costume contest until 7PM, with epic prizes. $30 per person!

Six months of Emrik 🤍

I don’t think I’ll ever be able to look at this little boy without thinking about everything it took to get us here.

Six months ago, bringing him into this world almost cost me my life. Instead of the peaceful (and if you knew my birth plan- comical) beginning I had pictured, we were thrown into hospital rooms, monitors, alarms, feeding tubes, fear, exhaustion, and a NICU stay that felt like a lifetime.

But in the middle of one of the hardest chapters of our lives, there was also an insane amount love.

Nurses who cared for our tiny baby when we couldn’t be there every second. They celebrated every little milestone with us. They reassured us when we were scared. They loved on him. Some of those nurses have now become our friends, and I don’t think they’ll ever fully understand what they mean to our family.

Our families showed up for us in every possible way. They held us up when we were running on empty, took care of us while we were trying to take care of him, and loved this little boy so fiercely from the very beginning.

And then there are all of the friends and people who have loved on Emrik over these last six months. The people who checked on us, snuggled us, brought food, sent messages, celebrated every ounce gained and every milestone reached, and have made our boy feel so unbelievably loved.

It really does take a village. And ours carried us.

Now somehow that tiny NICU baby is SIX MONTHS OLD!!!

There are pieces of your birth and those first few weeks that I think I’ll carry with me forever. But when I look at you now, more than anything, I feel so incredibly grateful.

Grateful that I’m here. Grateful you’re here. Grateful for every single person who helped make sure we both got here.

Happy half birthday, Emrik. 🤍

SEPTEMBER… you were a little insane

We walked. We talked. We listened to entire audiobooks. Finally finished that podcast we’d been meaning to listen to. Made our way through full albums, took approximately 700 “just going for a quick walk” walks… and kept each other accountable the whole way.

And we were also VERY serious about that leaderboard!!!

HUGE congratulations to our top 3:
💫Abigail - 885,240 steps
💫Summer - 881,668 steps
💫Kendra - 709,252 steps

Collectively, we logged 15,103,573 steps, 5,548.46 miles, and 49,067 minutes of movement… literally what the heck y’all!!
