This past weekend, I had the honor of being part of something truly special. 💚🐾

Sōlae Studio brought our community together for an incredible event supporting Paws for Patrick, with lululemon joining as a sponsor!

It was a powerful reminder that fitness isn’t just about building stronger bodies. It’s also about building connections, supporting one another, and prioritizing our mental health.

Paws for Patrick is doing meaningful work supporting youth mental health through the healing companionship of animals. 🐾

Thank you to Sōlae, lululemon, and everyone who showed up to support such an important cause.

Because sometimes, the greatest strength we have is each other. 💚

I WAS ON THE NEWS!!💕📰 Today I had the amazing chance of being on channel 9 news representing my lovely town,school, and beloved club with grace and love. Bonus thing,spending a day with dogs and my best friends was one of the best parts!!

Being on the news was AMAZING!! But spreading awareness for mental health was even better. I am so grateful I got to be apart of shining some light on @pawsforpatrick. Fun fact did you know petting a dog can lower your blood pressure and the dogs as well!!!

Shoutout to @ana.belaval for doing a spectacular job on today’s news it was so cool watching you work!!💗

Community service took center stage at @wearedeerpath this morning!

Thank you to @ana.belaval and @wgnmorningnews for visiting DPM for “Around Town” and helping showcase the many ways our students are making a difference through service.

It was especially meaningful to be joined by our friends from @pawsforpatrick and their adorable therapy dogs as we highlighted the importance of connection, compassion, and giving back.

A special thank you to our StuCrew, SLS, and DPM Green Team representatives for starting their day with us and proudly representing Deer Path!

I get to meet some really cool people sometimes. @ana.belaval is a phenomenal example.

Today I got to spend a little time behind the scenes at @wearedeerpath with @ana.belaval and chat about @pawsforpatrick, my work, @trustandgrowconsulting , and a story that means a whole lot to me.

For those who don’t know the story, Misty was a therapy dog who showed up for the community in the aftermath of the Highland Park Fourth of July shooting. Her presence became part of a much bigger story about trauma, healing, connection, and what it means to simply be there for people when the unthinkable happens.

Getting to talk about this work with Ana, someone who has built an incredible career and spent years connecting with people across Chicago, was pretty damn cool.

There are still moments when I look around and think, how did I get here?

Today was definitely one of them. 💚

Earlier this Summer, we had the opportunity to partner with a local organization, @pawsforpatrick for an event for therapists centered on integrating emotional support animals (ESAs) into mental health practice. Daniel Maigler, LCSW, and Craig Scalise, PhD, delivered an incredibly informative and engaging presentation, and we’d love to share a bit about what we learned.
