I grew up on the South Side of Chicago.

Hunting wasn’t part of my world. Honestly — I thought people who did it were a little off.

Then I moved to Texas many years ago. Decided to try it. And recently ended up in the field with one of the best hunting guides in the world.

What @pbc_hunt taught me had nothing to do with guns or killing.

It had everything to do with patience. Discipline. Ego. Spirituality. And what we are quietly losing in the modern world.

This is one of the realest conversations we’ve ever had on @thealpharenaissance

Vivian and her friend Carey hunted ducks this past weekend at the historic Port Bay Club in Rockport, Texas. Vivian was the lucky winner of the hunting trip at our Wild Game Night back in October. Carey has hunted 62 years and shot his first redhead on this trip.
They loved seeing all the shore bird activity in the blind really enjoyed the club and the friendly guide.
