Greg Cummings, CEO of Power100, shared a timely warning for every home improvement leader: homeowners are no longer just searching for contractors, they are asking AI who they can trust. In this Power100 PowerChat with Robert Greaves, founder and CEO of People Come First Construction Group, the conversation turns to affirmation search, AEO, and why real reviews, real content, real awards, real community presence, and real customer care are becoming the proof homeowners look for before they hire. For contractors, this is a clear reminder that AI is not replacing trust. It is changing where trust gets checked. The companies that win will be the ones that make their truth easy to find, easy to verify, and easy for homeowners to believe. Robert Greaves, founder and CEO of People Come First Construction Group, shared a customer trust lesson that reaches far beyond one outdoor living project: great companies are not only judged when everything goes right, they are judged when the job gets hard. In this Power100 PowerChat with Greg Cummings, Robert explains why his team does not give up when a problem appears, why long term care matters after the project is done, and why clear communication helps homeowners feel supported instead of forgotten. For leaders in home improvement, this conversation is a reminder that trust is built by the companies that keep showing up, keep answering, and keep standing behind their people, their work, and their community. Robert Greaves, founder and CEO of People Come First Construction Group, shared a leadership lesson that every growing home improvement company should hear: wanting the next role is not the same as being ready to carry it. In this Power100 PowerChat with Greg Cummings, Rob explains why real growth starts before the promotion, when leaders take the time to explain the responsibility, the accountability, and the areas where someone must improve before stepping into leadership. For companies trying to grow without weakening culture, this conversation is a reminder that strong teams are built by telling people the truth, giving them a clear path, and letting them choose growth with open eyes. Who says heavy equipment has to look boring? Just because your CAT tractor is pushing dirt, moving rock, and working hard on the job site doesn’t mean it can’t become a rolling billboard for your brand. Every time your equipment is on a customer’s property, it’s representing your company. From drone footage and project photography to social media content and curious neighbors driving by, branded equipment leaves a lasting impression. This CAT was transformed into a machine that works just as hard for the brand as it does on the job site. If you’re looking for incredible paver installation, retaining walls, rock work, and hardscaping, be sure to check @pcfconstructiongroup and @pcfbedrock . Their craftsmanship and attention to detail are second to none. And if you’re ready to brand your heavy equipment, fleet, or create a custom design that’s completely unique to your company—or simply something that turns heads—Wicked Wraps has you covered. Outbrand. Outrank. Style. Dominate. #HeavyEquipment #EquipmentWraps #WickedWraps #BrandYourBusiness

Rob Greaves, founder and CEO of People Come First Construction Group, shared a clear reminder for every leader in home improvement: people-first leadership is not about letting teams stay comfortable. It is about giving people a path, telling them the truth, holding the standard, and helping them level up before the company needs them to. In this Power100 PowerChat with Greg Cummings, Rob explains how growth, accountability, PCF University, and a culture that pushes people forward are helping build a stronger team and a better homeowner experience across the Pacific Northwest outdoor living market. If you lead a home improvement company, this conversation is a strong reminder that the companies built to last are the ones that grow their people before they ask the market to trust their brand.
