Brandon’s choral compositions and arrangements have been published and performed by choral ensembles around the world. In 2019, he was awarded as the inaugural recipient of the ACDA Diverse Voices Collaborative Grant. In addition, he has worked as a transcriber of Black gospel music for numerous choral octavos, hymnals and hymnal supplements published by GIA, including his work as a contributing editor for the One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism hymnal. Brandon’s release of Just In Case You’ve Forgotten is the first selected compendium of works by the late Thomas Whitfield, the subject of his dissertation. Dr. Waddles’ scholarship on Black sacred music has been experienced in the halls of Harvard, Yale, Morehouse and Hampton, and most recently on American Black Journal as seen on PBS.

An artist and activist, American tenor, Aaron Crouch has been described by the Huffington Post as “riveting vocally and as an actor.” Originally from Bowie, Maryland, he is a graduate of the prestigious Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia.

Mr. Crouch begins his 2023-24 season in the fall with an anticipated role and house debut as Count Almaviva in Virginia Opera’s production of Il barbiere di Siviglia. On the concert stage, he joins Morris Robinson for the second iteration of Morris & Friends: An Evening of Opera & Gospel at Washington Adventist University. He also sings as the tenor soloist in Handel’s Messiah with New West Symphony. Further ahead, he returns to Opera Philadelphia in a leading role.

He joins Morris & Friends on Saturday, Feb 3 @ 8 pm at the Takoma Park SDA church.

McCoy" hosted a special reception and live conversation with Michael Stepniak, Ed.D, longtime dean of @shenandoahconservatory, in honor of his recent promotion to Executive Dean for Creativity and the Arts at @shenandoahuniversity.
