Wow. What an incredible discussion with Aziz last night. ❤️🕊️ We came away with something we desperately needed: hope. Hope rooted not in ignoring reality, but in lived experience, empathy, courage and action, and the belief that peace between Israelis and Palestinians is possible. Aziz shared his story of growing up in Bethany, losing his brother at just 10 years old, and experiencing oppression not as an abstract concept, but every day. He told us how his mother would give him an onion to take to school to help him breathe if tear gas was fired. These stories are real. He shared the heartbreaking story of a friend who lost his entire family in Gaza. When another friend asked why he wasn’t crying, he replied: “How can I cry in front of you when you’ve lost your entire family?” The human cost of conflict. Aziz also spoke about the moment his paradigm shifted- when he learned Hebrew from a teacher who saw him, welcomed him and treated him as an equal. Suddenly, the “other” became human. That is the power of lived experience. Peace does not mean ignoring injustice. It means confronting injustice while creating opportunities to see one another as human beings. Aziz reminded us: Supremacy or equality. Hate or empathy. Division or connection. He called on us to join the vision for peace, amplify peace activists, and legitimise their voices at the table. That is why Peacewalk matters. It is more than a walk. It is a statement that another future is possible. A future of equality, dignity, security, freedom and justice. Peace can be seen. Peace can be lived. Peace can be achieved. We need peace now. ❤️🕊️ Thank you, Aziz, for reminding us that hope is not passive. It starts with us. #Peacewalk #Peace #IsraelPalestine #Equality #Empathy Hope

The Peacewalk in Austria is well on its way. Thanks mainly to the amazing work of @civilactionnetwork, @jonasgroener and Jan. They are leading, with an amazing team of volunteers, the Peacewalk through Austria. Check @peacewalk_at A special moment in the route, because Austria is also the birth country of the @jerusalem_way a founding partner of the Peacewalk..We walk mainly on the longest peacepath in the world. And making it a bit longer even, by doing so. Another two weeks, then the Western European leg of the Peacewalk enters Hungary. To merge in Budapest with the Eastern European leg. Starting points in six (!) different countries come together then. Find the awesome live map at map.peacewalk.info (and on our website)

Ticket link in bio. THERE IS ANOTHER WAY tells the story of people who refuse to surrender to violence and injustice - and who show that another path is possible. At its heart is Combatants for Peace, the bi-national movement of former enemy combatants, Israelis and Palestinians, working together in the middle of an ongoing genocide. Combatants for Peace is a joint Palestinian-Israeli movement committed to nonviolence and to ending systems of occupation and oppression through shared action and public advocacy. The movement works to challenge dominant narratives of separation and fear, and to build political partnership, solidarity, and collective resistance to violence through grassroots organizing and joint initiatives. We wish to thank Photo Cluster for hosting us, and encourage you to join the other events of Peacewalk 2026 Austria – Civil Action Network, or walk on with the Peacewalk towards Jerusalem. #Palestine #Israel #vienna #peacewalk2026

Before embarking on this Peacewalk, I envisioned documenting every step, every adventure. The reality? So much happens, so many impressions, so many adventures, that finding time to film and edit is a challenge. I'm learning every day, doing my best, and embracing the imperfections. It's a joy, but also a huge time commitment! Here's a short video from my mountain escape, a break from the Peacewalk, to recharge my batteries. In the mountains, I find myself again. Surrounded by nature, I feel small yet connected, finding the happiness and energy to continue this journey. With the Peacewalk flag and my camera, I hope to capture more beautiful moments to share. It's my way of contributing to this incredible journey. It's not easy, but I love it, and I have so much more to learn. These are my attempts, my trials. I hope you enjoy it! What would you like to see or know more about? #peacewalk #recharge #mountains #naturephotography

On était parfois 4, parfois 20 à marcher ensemble.
