6AM this morning. 😎🤯 5K but Intervals….. 🔥

Team held it down this AM. 🔒 Every week since March 25’. INCREDIBLE. Some of us are out of town on a Hyrox mission but the team showed up and out. Thank you Captain Julian @peakphysiosf for hosting our community today and keeping the gang together. What started as just some friends training turned into this family. Can’t even explain how proud and happy we are to foster a group like this that comes together to move in strength, health, and joy. Love yall. ❤️‍🔥

Took on a lil’ side quest to run @thespeedproject 600-mile race from San Francisco to Las Vegas with @trackandfeelsclub. It’s not everyday you get to spend 88 hours running day and night with friends who see you at your best, your worst, your strongest, and your most depleted. So taking a moment to be so incredibly proud of our team. Cannot believe we did that and had fun doing it…I think this probably solidifies that I’m a masochist lmfao.   📸 the amazing looking photos by some of my favorite humans @arisvphoto and @currychristy

Recovery IS training. 🔒🙏
Day 48 of 100 training for my first 100 mile race @bayarea100mile June 13th 2026 let’s gooOooOo.

Got banged up a bit from training this past weekend. Overall I’m good but Coach Julian wanted to make sure I’m great so fortunate to have him take care of me today. We checked for some overall mobility in the back/hips, manual therapy in affected areas, did some assisted stretching, and got to go over parts of my training I need to focus on to make sure I get to race day 100%.

Key points:
1. Adjust when needed:
-I’m going hard in training which is good but to understand recovery is just as much part of training as the actual mileage. I’m actively practicing this already but I need to hear the way he speak on it for it to register properly again. Don’t neglect my recovery and mobility days.

2. Actually rest. But how?
-Adjusting training load and intensity so that we’re not just idle on rest days but to sprinkle in lighter movement days
-reevaluate decision making meaning have a Plan A for training but be ok with Plan B if that means recovering to come back training at full potential.

With an upcoming Hyrox first then the Bay Area 100, training volume is high so even though it’s a lot, we must focus on recovery even more. That doesn’t mean hitting the sauna/cold plunge and getting excessive massages but to let the nervous system regulate and take some lighter movement days.
