Thank you to everyone who came by last Wednesday for our Chisenhale Crits! The afternoon was facilitated by Peer Sessions (Charlotte Warne Thomas and Kate Pickering) with guest contributor artist Thomas J. Price.

We are especially grateful to artists Bokani Tshidzu and Alex Lewis for presenting their recent work for discussion.

Incredible to think that it has been a year since I won a place with @peersessions @cassart1984 Islington. Such a wonderful opportunity to explore my work with fellow artist @catherinecorfieldartist & @kateburling led by @charlottewarnethomas & Kate Pickering @writing_a_body_of_belief .

I remember this time a year ago, driving up to London with my portfolio, excited &, if I am honest, a little nervous. It was an incredible day. Driving back home, it felt like the beginning of something new & exciting.

2020-21 so far has been quite a journey…

From @viaartsprize & @fidaworldwide finalist…

Make 100 Giclee prints with @kickstarter #projectwelove …to fund @royaldrawingschool Drawing Development Year.

Exhibiting with @thetub__hackney Life On Venus, 52 Week @thewhispergallery with work drawn from @drawingcabaretcouture , @fidaworldwide Summer Show @istitutomarangoni_miami ….

Developing my graphic narrative work with @distant_connections_art ….producing three graphic narrative projects…contributing to @graphicmedicine conference this year and seeing our art collective get our work out there to exist in the world….it’s been quite a ride!

Thank you @peersessions & @cassart1984 for an opportunity to connect with my creativity, feel a little braver, & dare to dream big.

Congratulations to this years fortunate artists that shall have their session on Saturday…I hope it is the start of something wonderful!
