Water Ball 2026! 🥳💧🪩

From learning about the global water crisis to getting hands-on in building the very equipment that will help change lives, this was more than a celebration. It was a night of coming together to turn thirst into hope.

Had the opportunity to grab a bottle of the annual Parker’s Heritage release! This years is special because it’s the 20th edition and a 14 year old bourbon whiskey!

Apologize for the hoarse voice and jorts. The Kentucky Bourbon Festival clearly got the best of me 😂

If you are ever visiting the @jimbeamofficial distillery; with say @pegasusdistilled Bourbon Social tours, and you visit the bourbon bar above the gift shop where all the good stuff is poured...
Trust the bartenders and get the uncommon pours. For $7.00 USD I had these 2 very different pours and these were new to me - which I do not get to say to often. Simply the best!

Not often I get try a 6-grain spirit, so sippin this one with 3 guests was an easy decision today @arteatablesbourbontruffles (just the best bourbon and bourbon truffles) during yet another great @pegasusdistilled Bourbon Social tour!

Anita's Choice is a unique six-grain bourbon produced by Burnt Church Distillery in Bluffton, South Carolina. Dedicated to the suffragist Anita Pollitzer, the 97-proof (48.5% ABV) whiskey features a distinct mash bill (55% corn, 13% wheat, 12% malted barley, 10% Carolina Gold rice, 5% rye, and 5% oat).

Just an incredible pour of a 30 year @bladeandbowwhiskey today on the grounds of @stitzelwellerdistillery at the @gardenandgunclub during our "Angels and Outlaws" tour from @pegasusdistilled

Our guest so loved the distillery tour and history that he wanted to spend a few bucks out his own pocket for this pour. Other than the bottle and the tray he got to keep everything in front of him.

One way to explore the Kentucky Bourbon Trail is by booking a transportation tour. 🚌🥃

For this visit, I tried the Barrels & Legends Tour with Pegasus Distillery Tours, which runs every Thursday.

The day started with pickup at the Galt House in downtown Louisville before heading to the Frazier History Museum and Rebecca Ruth Candies.

🍽️ Lunch stop: Goodwood Brewing

🥃 Distillery visits included:
• Woodford Reserve Distillery
• Buffalo Trace Distillery
• J. Mattingly 1845 Distillery

💰 Cost: $219 per person
This includes museum admission, lunch, transportation, and all tours and tastings throughout the day.

The bus was spacious and comfortable, with snacks provided between stops. The team was knowledgeable about the trail and made the logistics of the day easy.

If you’re looking for a way to visit several distilleries without having to plan transportation or build an itinerary yourself, this is one option worth considering.

I’ll also be trying a few other Bourbon Trail transportation options in the coming months to compare the experience.

Come with us for a full behind the scenes week of @bourbon_classic media camp!!! PART 1 🥃🎉

We started Wednesday night at @21clouisville for the Top Shelf: A @buffalotrace Antique Collection Experience where we got to taste all the whiskeys in the BTAC lineup. 🦬

Thursday morning @pegasusdistilled picked us up at the @louisvillemarriott for the bus to our first stop, @preservationdistillery in @visitbardstown . Here we got to do our very first barrel pick! Such a cool experience. 😍

Next stop: @beamdistilling . We got to taste some experimental products that may or may not ever be released. 🤫
Then we had a lovely lunch at the @thekitchentablejbbdco . 😋💯

Back to the hotel for a @bulleit tasting of their new Bulleit Bourbon Mesquite Smoked Malt Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Then the @horsesoldierbourbon Whiskey and War Stories event and tasting. 🥃

2 days of media camp down, 2 to go. 😅
