This is me today, after a terrific night of theatre @pelhamfringe that I helped create with a lot of other creators dedicated to the performing arts. AND IN NEW YORK! It’s been a tough journey for me, and yet I’m here and still smiling #nofilter #nobotox #over60

And that’s a wrap on this year’s annual Juneteenth Celebration presented to you by the Village of Pelham Council on the Arts.

A special thank you to our community leaders, trustees, vendors, performers, and everyone else who supported and attended.

This year’s theme was “Freedom in Motion”, and that was showcased throughout the day. May it continue to flow.
A special thank you to our videographer - @gicassoarchive

See you next year ✊🏿✌🏾

A huge thank you to ArtsWestchester for investing in the arts and helping make the inaugural Pelham Fringe Festival possible.
#what began less than a year ago as artists gathered around a table to read a play has grown into thriving creative laboratory for actors, writers and directors. Now, as we begin curating the Festival lineup, we’re celebrating the remarkable original work that has emerged from our community.

We can’t wait to share these stories with audiences this October.

Stay Tuned.

Art has the power to bring us together, deepen understanding, and honor stories that matter.

Thank you to the Village of Pelham Council on the Arts for inviting Pelham Fringe to participate in today’s Juneteenth celebration: Freedom in Motion. We were honored to support a reading of “Chronologie” by Stephie Mazunya, directed by Pelham Fringe’s Melissa Flower Gladney and performed by a talented group of local actors.

Grateful to everyone who helped make today’s event possible.
