🌟 Chapter leaders, don't forget! Every chapter is expected to send at least one representative to EMERGE 2026, taking place November 6-8.

EMERGE Rising Leaders Retreat is a leadership development experience designed to help students explore their values, strengthen their leadership skills, build meaningful connections across the fraternity and sorority community, and learn how to create positive change within their organizations and campus communities.

Interested in helping shape the experience? Looking to participate? Be sure to submit your registration by this Sunday October 25.

This is a great opportunity to invest in your growth as a leader while bringing new ideas and skills back to your chapter. We look forward to seeing representation from every chapter at EMERGE this November! ✨

Tradition ends where harm begins.

The strongest traditions are those that bring people together, build character, and create a sense of belonging without compromising anyone's wellbeing. As we observe National Hazing Prevention Week, we challenge the idea that harmful activities are a necessary part of membership or tradition.

At Penn State, we are committed to fostering organizations where respect, dignity, and care for one another define the membership experience. Hazing has no place in our community. Every student deserves the opportunity to belong without being subjected to harm.

National Hazing Prevention Week reminds us that creating a safer community is a shared responsibility.

Bystanders play a critical role in preventing hazing by recognizing warning signs, understanding the potential for harm, and having the courage to take action. Hazing thrives in silence, but prevention starts when we notice concerns, ask questions, support one another, and speak up when something doesn't feel right. Together, we can build a culture where belonging never comes at the expense of someone's wellbeing.

🚫 Myth: Hazing is just a tradition.
✅ Fact: Hazing is not a ritual of bonding. It’s an abuse of power that can cause physical, emotional, and psychological harm. True brotherhood, sisterhood, and belonging are built on mutual respect, accountability, and shared values, not shared trauma.

As we observe National Hazing Prevention Week, we encourage our community to challenge common misconceptions about hazing and help create membership experiences where every student feels safe, respected, and valued. Together, we can build organizations that strengthen individuals and create authentic belonging without causing harm

Penn State, thank you for trusting me with the room 💙

There’s something powerful about watching a room go from listening to actually leaning in. Grateful for the opportunity to challenge, laugh with, and pour into student leaders...especially those at a crossroad that don’t know how to move forward.

This is why I love what I get to do 🙏🏾 A constant reminder that together, We are LIMITLESS ♾️

Every semester, our IFC Executive Board hosts PNM Orientation as their recruitment kick-off. This event allows interested students to hear about the recruitment process, ask questions, and hear from a guest speaker. This semester, IFC had Casey Cornelius, ForCollegeForLife, back to do his signature program, "Carrying the Fire." Carrying the Fire is an inspiring program designed to help new members understand what comes next after they join an organization. Through honest storytelling and practical insight, Casey J. Cornelius challenges students to see membership as a responsibility and an opportunity to shape the future of their chapter, team, or group. #WeAre #PennStateFSL

We wanted to take a moment to publicly thank everyone for their contributions to our fraternity, especially through the GoFundMe page. With your support, we were able to raise over $15,000 to help offset the cost of renting a new house for our active chapter to live and have fellowship in. We can’t thank everyone enough for helping us through this difficult time!
