If you’re looking to try A5 Wagyu, or support local this holiday season - be sure to check out Lady Jaye’s Annual Meat Market this Tuesday (12/17) from 4pm-8pm!! 🥩🎁🎅 Lady Jaye is a local smokehouse BBQ restaurant in West Seattle that also features a cocktail bar and butcher shop! 😊 We were #invited to preview some of their meats for their meat market - an annual event they put on during the holiday season and for Father’s Day! 🤗 Evan showed us all of the meats they’ve been preparing over the last couple days. They have all parts of the cow, and meats sourced locally, as well as abroad. 🤩 I really enjoyed hearing how Lady Jaye is trying to make buying quality meats more approachable budget wise. They have sealed packaged A5 Wagyu all the way from Miyazaki, Japan that starts at around $25 and feeds about 2-3! 🥹🩷 During the event, you’ll be able to select meats to purchase from their case, pick up whisky stocking stuffers and enjoy their cocktails and wagyu stew! 🥳 We prepped our wagyu based on recommendations from Evan and it was an amazing experience at home for date night. The wagyu melted in mouth and was so tender!!! 🤩 This event is perfect for any meat or whisky lover, but is family friendly too 😉 Be sure to stop by this Tuesday and come early before they sell out! Thank you @ladyjayewest for showing us around and sending us home with some Wagyu! So nice to meet you Evan 😊 #hosted 🏷️ #seattlemeatmarket #seattleeats #seattlefoodie #a5wagyu #wagyu #westseattle seattle eats • seattle meat market • a5 wagyu • seattle foodie

Happy one year anniversary to @oolacapitolhill! Was honored to dine with them last week and try some of their amazing cocktails (@ooladistillery is the oldest distillery in Seattle!) and almost tapas-style plates (a bit larger). You’ll notice their food menu is on the smaller side, and I truly think it’s because they have PERFECTED each dish. We tried their tuna, potato rosti, and the steak and I would consider all three must-try dishes. I can’t even pick a favorite because all three were spectacular in their own way. The steak was new this week and it was cooked so tender and it was melt in your mouth Go go go to @oolacapitolhill for your next date spot! 🫶🏼

WOW!! @oolacapitolhill is an absolute gem 🤌✨ From the second we sat down, we felt the warm/genuine hospitality. Our waitress/bartender, the owners, the chefs — everyone was fantastic.🥹🥰 Along with some delicious cocktails, we had — 🥬Roasted Asparagus Taleggio Espuma, Hazelnuts 🥦 Broccolini “Carbonara” Guanciale, Egg Yolk*, Cream, Parmesan, Black Pepper, Sumac Crouton 🐟Seared Black Cod Lovage Soubise, Meyer Lemon, Rhubarb, Fava Beans, Pearl Onion 🍣St Jude Albacore Tuna* Ginger & Spring Onion, Carrot Escabeche, Fried Allium, Chili Oil 🍰Eton Mess Earl Grey Meringue, Strawberry Coulis, Spring Pea Ice Cream, White Chocolate Whip We genuinely loved every single dish. They each had unique flavors, beautiful presentation, and made you feel good afterwards. You could just taste the fresh ingredients! And if you get the chance to go & meet the owners, ask them about their story. It’s really cute.☺️ @oolacapitolhill originated from @ooladistillery and boy was it a great idea for them to also start a restaurant! They’ve done such an incredible job. I highly, highly recommend checking out @oolacapitolhill for a friends catch up, date night, or you name it!😍 Has anyone else been to @oolacapitolhill before?? #ooladistillery #seattlefood #foodporn #seattlerestaurants #foodblogger #foodblogfeed

🔔Check out @oolacapitolhill Seattle Restaurant Week special, available until April 27th! 🔔 Date night took place at 📍OOLA in Capitol Hill! @oolacapitolhill is a beautiful cocktail bar/bottle shop/restaurant serves up fun drinks using their own locally made vodka, whisky, and gin, as well as shared plates. Here’s what we ordered: 🍸 •Cosmo’s Cosmos •The Road Less Traveled •Szechuan Negroni •Pom Pom •Espresso Martini 🍽️ •St Jude Albacore Tuna •Potato Rosti •Broccolini Carbonara •Alaskan King Salmon •Rhubarb Semifreddo •Chocolate Terrine The ⭐️ of the night: St Jude Albacore Tuna While OOLA is an award winning distillery, I was happy to find that they also had delicious mocktails! The highlight of the night was speaking with the owner, KT. She talked about where all of the herbs for the garnishes come from (her own garden!), how her chickens get some of the food waste, and the restaurants ultra-low plastic waste output. She and all of the staff there were so kind and welcoming to everyone who walked through the door, and that’s a lot of people on a busy Saturday night! 💌

Citrus Gin Mule, Cosmic Martini, Pluto’s Return, Brie & Butter, Potato Rosti, Braised Squid, 24 HR Bone-In Short Rib, & Cardamom Pot de Creme📍OOLA Capitol Hill 🥂⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ OOLA Capitol Hill is one of my favorite restaurants I have been to this year so far! It’s intimate and inviting. The crafted cocktails were delicious and were made using their own spirits from @ooladistillery . They often change up their menu, but the shareable plates we had this night made by Chef Elizabeth were so amazing. The flavors were well balanced, and it left us speechless with every bite. The squid was stuffed with wild boar pate over a bed of uni butter rice, the potato rosti was so crispy, and the tender short rib was flavorful. I can’t pick a favorite because I loved everything! ⁣ ⁣⁣ Check out OOLA in Capitol Hill, you won’t be disappointed. We met one of the owners, KT, and it was so great getting to know her! Fun fact, OOLA is the name of their dog! When you’re there, ask KT about the large photos on the walls, you’ll learn even more about her! 😊⁣ ⁣ Thank you for an amazing evening @oolacapitolhill ! 💕 . . . 📸: iPhone 15 Pro Max #seattlerestaurants #capitolhillseattle #musttryfood #deliciousdrinks #seattleeats #datenightideas #mocktails #cocktails #casualfinedining #shortrib #potatorosti #roomfordessert #weekendiscoming #sharewithfriends #yelpwashington #intimatedinner
