P3. The global final of the Art of Italicus 2026. Nine bartenders from eight countries and one wild card, all competing at @thesavoylondon’s Beaufort Bar for the title of Global Italicus Bar Artist.

Each finalist brought their own interpretation of the Spritz, celebrating the Italian art of aperitivo through creativity, technique, and craftsmanship.

Austin Harrington from @youngbloodsd (San Diego) took the title with his cocktail “Science Fair.” Matthew Kaemmerer-Farag from @kwantmayfair in London placed second. Ashely Vanesa De la Rosa Gonzalez from @amarorecords in Guadalajara took third.

Finalists represented China, Germany, France, Hong Kong, Italy, Spain, the UK and the USA.

What a week. @the50bars called and the city showed up, with long days, cliché, late nights, event coordination, and an incredible teams working flat out @justpalmira @marchetto_todoerti @a_moccoroni @mattiapastori_official @studio_tolstoi @italspirits @abvventure @nonsolococktails
Tired, yes, but every hour was worth it.

Thank you to all the bars who hosted us this week. Your doors, your teams and your energy made it happen.

Cheers to the bartenders who made this year 🥂

Last night the World’s 50 Best Bars were announced, and we couldn’t be prouder of the people we worked with during the past years. Huge congratulations to @barleonehk on taking No.1 again, back to back, and to @moebiusmilano Milano on a remarkable climb to No.2. Working alongside both teams this year has been a real privilege.

And to every bar we shared a stage, a seminar or a late night with: your craft, your generosity and your hospitality are what keep this industry moving. Thank you for letting us be part of it.

Taking part in @artofitalicus 2026 with @italicusrdb was a once in a lifetime experience, after messing up at the nationals I was excited to get a second chance at the presentation and am pleased to say it went a lot better!

It was an incredible few days and I'm so grateful for all the competitors and the judges who made it so special.

I was also absolutely honoured to represent the UK in the competition last minute but a huge shout-out to @max_yukhno who was the rightful winner of the Italicus GB but couldn't make it- he really deserved to be there and a massive thank you to @aperitivowithme for inviting me back.

From second place in the Nationals to second place in the globals, pretty happy with that! @ustinharrington was a well deserved winner and all the competitors were absolutely incredible!

Chuffed. A week ago we closed the Art of Italicus Global Final at the Beaufort Bar, the Savoy, where Italicus was launched 10 years ago.
Eight years of this competition.
We built it and then hosted it. The welcome packs, the trophies, the back bar, the goodies bags, the briefs, everything behind the curtains.
@ustinharrington won with his drink Science Fair and some chemistry 🧑‍🔬 and every finalist in that room earned their place, I’m proud of every one of them and their journeys
Special thanks to the judges, the @italspirits and @abvventure teams for all the hard work done during the past months.

What’s one competition moment you still think about? 🍸
