LAST CHANCE TONIGHT! COME ALONE, MAKE FRIENDS HERE :)))

🥊🐟 THE GOLDFISH BLEEDING IN A SEA OF SHARKS – WRESTLING CLUB IS BACK! 🦈💥

REBORN!
2026 EDITION: LIVING ON THE ENEMY’S LAND
18 & 19 September
CC Amstel
Amsterdam
20:30

Dear friends, your favourite friend THE GOLDFISH BLEEDING is back!
Now housed at @ccamstel, the piece will return yearly over the next four years, bringing shocking statements, evil characters and amazing performers doing freestyle dance Lucha Libre for you. 🤼‍♀️🔥

This year’s edition takes its title from a phrase by legendary Brazilian rapper KLJAY, who reminded us back in the 1990s that there is no utopia when you live on your dominat0r’s land.

Its motto is inspired by the Latin American wrestling form Lucha Libre, in which social characters enact current social issues, opening spaces for grief, anger, comedy and dreams for the future.
Uf! 🌎

WHO ARE THE HEROES OF 2026?
🌊 MATCH 1 — NAVAL BATTLE
At the centre of today’s battlefield, naval forces protect fortresses of privilege where mega-corporati0ns keep their offices while people d!e at sea - and the sea itself d!es too.
But maybe climate warriors can break the naval blockade?
💚 GO GRETA, GO! 💚

📲 MATCH 2 — ONLINE BATTLE
Our villain, has never left his bedroom and will discover the world for the first time with us.
Waiting for him: Corporate F3minism™ — promising salvation through branding, inclusion strategies and corporate language. 💼✨

A little appreciation post 🤍

Let's go back to 2016 for a moment. While scrolling through some folders, I found these photos from one of our very first photoshoots back at our first studio @poledancefactoryamsterdam in Amsterdam East Looking through them made me realize just how many of these girls are still an important part of the studio today. Instructors, students... so many of you are still here, and that truly warms my heart 🥹❤️ Thank you all for being part of this special community ✨

Since 2013, Peppermetz has been dabbling just outside the Venn diagrams of conformity. Inspired by rebellious subcultures, protest movements but also with influences from their background in micro-, myco-, and marine biology, Peppermetz creates unexpected looks from upcycled materials, while challenging the viewer with swaying and writhing knots of limbs in the pole. Inviting you to hold those expectations of beauty and gender up to the light, are you open to something that rubs you the wrong way?" Pic @jitskenap
