Last week’s Platform Artist training was truly transformational for me. I walked in excited, but I had no idea just how much it would awaken something deeper inside. To be surrounded by such incredible talent, passion, and energy — to learn, grow, and be pushed to new heights — was nothing short of a blessing.

I feel so humbled and honored to be at the table, standing alongside artists I have admired for so long. This experience has changed the way I see myself, my craft, and my future. I’m leaving with new skills, a full heart, and an even bigger fire to create, serve, and inspire.

Gratitude doesn’t even begin to cover it. Thank you to everyone who poured into us and believed in us. I’m just getting started — and I’m ready.

✨ they say don’t meet your idols, but I met mine + she’s even more magical in person ✨
It’s taken me some time to process how incredible + surreal last Sunday was. After several years of following @danessa_myricks + now having been a DMB angel for a year and a half, I was determined to be able to meet her in person this year. Not only did I get to finally meet her + hug her, but to have the opportunity to watch her work and learn from her was truly such a gift. Danessa is one of those people who radiate love, joy + positive energy + is somehow even more incredible in person. The best way I could describe getting to interact with her is that she’s like pure sunshine in human form. I am forever thankful to be able to learn from her + have her support. Truly such a gem of a person.💖

It was also absolutely incredible getting the opportunity to not only learn from Danessa but also from @lotstar who is such a real + inspiring person + artist. Best believe I took notes during both of their portions of the masterclass! To round it all out, I got to finally meet my lovely friend + fellow angel @perfectedbypepper in person, who is another person who embodies positive energy + love.

Being around so many other creatives in the beauty community made me feel so at home, which is not a feeling I’ve often felt. It truly felt like I was surrounded by my people even though so many of them were industry professionals + I’m just a content creator who loves makeup artistry. Being able to attend @themakeupshow and spend time with Danessa + my girl Pepper was such a highlight of my 2023 + I will treasure the opportunity always. I cannot wait to see all the amazing, magical things Danessa + her team have up their sleeves next!!!
