The power of America’s mothers helped shape the last election. That same power is helping shape what comes next.

Global Wellness Forum was proud to participate in "The Gathering of America’s Mothers", a two-day facilitated workshop in Washington, D.C., bringing together leaders from 20 organizations to identify shared priorities for our country and find common ground on the issues that matter most to our families.

GWF Executive Director Aimee Villella McBride joined fellow leaders of mother-led organizations to shape an agenda focused on protecting parental rights, improving food transparency, reducing dependence on conventional pesticides, eliminating toxic exposures from geoengineering, weather modification and other industrial pollutants, safeguarding informed consent, and strengthening vaccine rights and vaccine injury compensation reform.

The event was followed by lobbying days on the hill, during which participants met with congressional staffers to advance these priorities and keep pressure on Congress to deliver lasting change.

Thank you to @zenhoneycutt, @momsacrossamerica and @yesmaamusa for bringing this diverse group of organizations together around our shared goals.

GWF remains committed to delivering policy reform and legislative action to protect families and fundamental rights as we collaborate with federal and state legislators to create meaningful and lasting change.

@glennbeck shared an original draft from Thomas Jefferson that he collected as part of his American Journey historical artifacts exhibit (which is amazing btw). I had the opportunity to meet and speak with Representative Thomas Massie at the People vs Poison rally in Washington DC. He was so down to earth and relatable. His work on the Farm Bill is vital to keep the good parts and help lead the removal of the alarming sections in the Farm Bill. If you care about your health, clean water, food, our soil, and the future health of our children, take action now. The next stop for the Farm Bill is the Rules Committee. This is who decides if an amendment will even be allowed. We must be loud and united: ask for the opportunity for Farm Bill amendments before the bill goes to the floor vote.

The House Farm Bill includes dangerous provisions amending the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIRFA) that would create a blanket liability shield for pesticide manufacturers, strip states of their authority, and block injured Americans from seeking justice.

I remember when we were ostracized, stigmatized, censored, and a day like this seemed like it would never be a reality. When you are in the room with so many warriors and leaders in the freedom movement, it’s a reminder of how far we’ve come. It’s also a great motivator for what still needs to be done. Each person must do their part.
I was honored to be able to attend two celebrations in Washington, D.C. in honor of Secretary Kennedy’s one year anniversary as HHS Secretary @hhsgov at the @Heritage Foundation and @MAHAAction.
It was uplifting to be gathered with like-minded leaders and friends and hear inspiring messages from @seckennedy , @jaywrichards, @drozcms, @calleymeans, @drmakaryfda, @drericberg, @dr_robert_redfield_ , @Zenhoneycutt and many more…
@perk_group couldn’t miss out on also teaming up with @momsacrossamerica, @zenhoneycutt, and educate our representatives on capitol hill on what people care about. Zen was awesome in action as she beautifully and thoughtfully articulated the issues with the #Farm Bill, harmful #pesticides, and the #immunityshield language that should not be accepted. We must always use our voice. @amylbohn @PERK_Group
