Sharing one of my favourite moments from the last tour - performing with the @ssajbigband live @blacksquirrelclub in Philadelphia.

The piece Selendis wrote, For Elizabeth S. of Frankfurt, was originally composed and premiered for our performance at the @monheimtriennale in 2025.

Being somewhat “in transmission” (referring to my solo album as well) between Europe and the US has led me to many reflections about the different scenes, music, community and myself. Rather than measuring one against the other, I’ve found it more meaningful to observe and appreciate their differences for what they are. I won’t go deeper into it now, but feel free to reach out if you’d like to talk about it.

And if you haven’t yet, check out the debut album of the @ssajbigband - “The Vanguard Exists to End Itself in the Arriven Crowd, over and over: Live at Roulette” on @permanent__press

the first track i ever made under the name "orchiddBB," which is now a band, out now on bandcamp + some streaming services. this will be the last solo music released under this name.

true orchiddBB with @buriedgiant.music @iiiamvivek @mariofontes.co.uk also has an album out on bandcamp. they give us all the money today.

"heel" is an especially hard task to train your hound to do. imagine a kaleidescope of scents that are perceived through a nose that accounts for 70% of your face. you have ears built to waft the earth's perfume directly into your nostrils... but then, the people who give you all of your food & shelter are begging for you to walk in lockstep with them. a matter of inches determine whether you will be asked to do it again.

"The release balances intricate production with emotive performance, moving between dense, layered passages and moments of spacious clarity. There’s a tactile quality to the sound design that makes each track feel deliberate and immersive." - my spam folder
