We interrupt your scrolling to introduce you to Kimberly (@kimberlyann49), Kristina (@krissymmurphy), Lawrence (@hudsonsbayman) and Persephone (@persephone90)! These 4 all have unique stories and are all inspiring members of Team TCMA! Kimberly “accidentally” fell in love with running as an adult and now can’t get enough! The same goes for Lawrence, who didn’t find running until he was approaching his 60th birthday…and now at 68 and still running, hopes to inspire others, showing it’s never too late to become a runner. Kristina has quite the resume of race experiences, completing all 6 world marathon majors, completing the Seattle Quadzilla (4 marathons in 4 days) and hopes to hit 40 marathons by her 40th birthday. Persephone loves to run as part of her very active lifestyle and you’ll find her running TCMA races but also spending a lot of time at the gym strength training…something most of us should probably be doing more of, too! Be sure to follow these athletes for inspiration, humor and to see why we think they’re great members of our 2024 ambassador team. #tcmaevents #runtacoma #teamtcma #tcmaambassador

Been on a social media hiatus lately.. but to wrap up birthday month... Went back to the mountains to celebrate my birthday PNW style. Few things I learned from this weekend. 1. Trying to get 40+ to take a group pic is like herding squirrels. So sorry if you didn’t get in the group pics attempted, we tried. 😆🐿. 2. My grandmother told me once, “love multiplies, it does not divide.” And ESPECIALLY these days, where everything seems to be dividing, love/compassion for one another is what will pull us back together. 3. I’m SO Abundantly grateful for everyone who made the effort to make the weekend EPIC. To ducks and drakes for letting us take over. To Chris ward for putting on a great concert. And to everyone else who thought about my wild self, so much 💛✌🏼🌺. -yes I’m doing a headstand on a floating raft down the river. -yes I’m wrapped in bubble wrap with a helmet and a backpack playing the zucchini guitar.
