POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

So here is the story.

We had a 50th celebration for Alex this past weekend… in Madrid 🇪🇸

Alex had a 72 hour layover in Spain so decided to tag along and make it her birthday trip.

We are extremely busy as most couples are but we are super intentional with the times that we have together. Before the campaign heats we decided to take this trip and if needed, we can talk strategy in Spanish courtyard instead of Starbucks.

How does 72 hours to unplug, walk 20k a day, find a vintage record store, drink Sangria for less than the cost of bottled water (It’s true: Alex’s drink was 3.50 and my sparking water was 4) and admire architecture in one of the oldest cities in Europe sound? It was divine.

Thank you for sparking a love for travel, Alex. That was a memorable escape.

I love you, but I really like you.

Happy Birthday

I am officially registered to run for a second term as City Councillor for Ward 9.

It has been an honour to serve as your City Councillor for Meadowvale and Central Erin Mills, in partnership with our community. We are just getting started.

There is more to do. More to build. More to achieve. With your continued support, we will keep moving forward, together.

True to form, I was there before the doors opened, and I will bring that same energy and commitment to every day of this campaign.

Thank you to my wife, my family, and to all the families standing behind candidates across our city. This journey is inspiring, it is challenging, and it is worth every step. 📸 @natee.reid

Anyone else have soreness from shovelling that snow yesterday?
Fun fact, your City Councillor is a Pilates teacher. Here are some gentle movements you can do today while you prepare for another round of snow shovelling today.
Take your time. Listen to your body. Stay safe, stay strong.
Our @citymississauga community centres offer a great selection of stretch and move type classes to meet you at your fitness level. Meadowvale Community Centre is one of my faves, but I am biased.

At the start of 2025, in addition to *gestures wildly around* everything else, I received some news about an unexpected finding on an MRI. A routine scan for migraines showed a concerning lesion and follow up was needed ASAP. The year 2025 immediately became mentally and emotionally one of the hardest I would go through. Initially, I was frozen with fear of what we would find. But as we ruled out some concerns and learned that the tumor in my brain was stable and would not need immediate attention, I started to realized that I was being presented with an opportunity to live my life and I decided to take it. I found a new doctor who was an expert in the type of tumor I had and worked with me to put together a monitoring plan. My sidekick seems to be just along for the ride at the moment and that’s how we intend to keep it. So for the foreseeable future, we’re gonna give her one hell of a show! I said yes to more than I should have 😏 and closed out the year stronger in mind, body, spirit and perspective. The tree you see is full of leaves that represent new audiences that I’ve had the pleasure to speak in front of this year. In addition to health coaching and teaching Pilates, I’ve had the pleasure of working with some amazing teams across Chicagoland, taking risks to bring new and innovative experiences to the corporate wellness space. I closed the year learning that my tumor is stable and I pray she’ll stay that way. But for now, I look forward to another year of life, working to create impact in the spaces where I’m lucky enough to live my life ❤️. Happy new year, friends. May it be full of life for you as well! 🎵I choreograph to the beat — because movement has color.🎨

When someone catches that move — truly connects to their body —
I see it instantly.
That moment of alignment deserves attention, refinement, and celebration.

This is what we do as instructors:
we nourish potential.
We guide bodies into awareness.
We notice when the magic lands.

And yes —
Men do Pilates too.
Let’s give them space, coaching, and visibility.
Because when they show up with presence and curiosity,
they elevate the studio energy for everyone.

Pilates is rhythm, relationship, and evolution — for every body. ✨

Today, I’m filled with gratitude as I celebrate 50 years of life.
I started the day in prayer and reflection, thanking God for life, grace, and wisdom. Of course, I got in my “50” workout on the TRX, and found a few meaningful photos to share with you.
To everyone who’s crossed my path—whether our moments were good or challenging—thank you. Every encounter helped shape me, and I hope I’ve done the same for you. In life, we win or we learn.
Thank you for walking this journey with me.
