Nursing the recovery leg at Verdley, it hurts taking b-lines but not as much as hitting a sudden compression

Van Gogh’s missing ear with @petecarvell -almost ran over a squirrel and a mouse but stayed safe from the low hanging branches and trees for once

A very painful return to Surrey Hills with @petecarvell but a fun day nonetheless. Every bump sent a world of pain through my knee but it just about held up!

Great photography from @petecarvell on a Leith Hill epic adventure to find his lost car keys 🔑 props to the AA who sent a lorry and were faced with a 2.3m barrier 🙄 the guy was super cool about it. Ended up with a bike that wouldn’t fit in my car being stashed in the woods, a drive to collect the spare key and an eerie return to the pitch black car park 🤣

Wide Awake 2025!! Holy shit, what an incredible day!

Always such a great lineup and place to discover artists new to me.

Sunshine, fun times and . . . Kneecap!!! I mean, I love the film but I wasn’t prepared for how incredible, emotional and electric their set was gonna be. Wow. 🥹

Hats off to them for using their platform to stand up for human rights and democracy. It was a powerful moment being there with everyone. And the moshpit was bloody brilliant!!

Having a wander around Hankley Common and Bourne Woods. Both popular film locations. You might recognise the woods if you’ve watched The Rings of Power, Skyfall, Napoleon and Gladiator - to name but a few films shot there. #cowbineharvesters #autumnlight #mushrooms

#ardrockenduro 2024. My first. What a fun event and weekend of riding with a top crew!

Took it very easy on race day, riding blind and then a moment of 0% skill and 100% stupidity on Stage 1 meant I fell on an old injury.

Good company and a timely intervention from a fellow competitor with a bag of ibuprofen got us through to the end (Whoever you are… Colin and I owe you a pint!).

Roll on next year… fitter, stronger and with a little more knowledge of the 7 awesome stages.
