🗽from now on we’re non negotiable!💋

•getting to work on a new musical has always been a dream of mine and this process has been nothing short of that. I feel so lucky to have been a part of a project written and led entirely by women, and getting to sing commander in chief every night is truly something I’ll cherish forever. so much love to this wonderfully talented group and you know what they say… majority rules ;)

Sing with me out loud, MAJORITY RULES!

I don’t think I will ever have the words to describe this experience. To see this cast and crew bring our show to life and put in so much dedication was an honor. The music for Majority Rules is so special to me as a composer because I had the most fun writing it, and I really wanted to create songs that people will remember long after the show ends. This group made my music sound better than my wildest dreams, and I had a blast music directing (especially teaching @mattdoherty08 how to sing)! Thank you to everyone who walked out of the theatre humming a Majority Rules tune- you are why I do what I do. To see audiences laugh and cry every night is the most rewarding experience I’ll ever have as a writer… especially seeing everyone’s reactions to Commander-in-Chief. Still crying @alex_portaro

My partner-in-crime @jillianhetherman this story came from your mind, and I’m so happy we got paired together in that class because I love writing music for these characters and the world you created. We’ve worked so hard to make the show the best it can be (we will always be living Smash irl) and I’d say the revisions have paid off! @alyssapeyton214 you are a badass and we would’ve drowned without you keeping us sane as our stage manager amongst other titles ;) can’t believe I was social media manager/PR, head of ticketing, photographer, water re-filler… it’s called being a multi-hyphenate.

Thank you to all my friends and family who came from all over to support, you know who you are, and @kiararocktheworld best reunion ever- thank u for running sound and fixing my mixes. @caroline.nowak @sarah.gold2000 you are both wonderful and brilliant yay lights!!

We’re on the same team, world peace is the mainstream 🩷🇺🇸☮️
