Oh we miss the wobbly Polycopies boat! Today we would have the usual busy Friday. Good vibes and the traditional Eriskay diner in the evening. Luckily we have the pictures. And keep in mind we still have the -20% off for every book this weekend only. Use POLYCOVID2020 on checkout. Merci! #polycopies #memories #photographers #polycovid

Here you see the beautiful trailer of a documentary in which i had the chance to participate. The documentary is about Gilles de la Tourette, a subject close to my heart.

For more information about this project and Gilles de la Tourette there is also an article in ‘De Standaard’. Soon the full documentary will be shown and there will be also be a book, a website and one or more exhibitions.

Voor meer informatie over dit project en Gilles de la Tourette is er ook een artikel in ‘De Standaard’. Binnenkort zal de volledige documentaire te zien zijn en zullen er ook een boek, een website en één of meerdere exposities te zien zijn.

DESIGN STUFF we love & why (by Francine)

This is a nice story that I want to share with you.
It’s about @mr_frank_photo the initiative of Peter. And believe me... his aesthetic feel is impressive.
He is a photographer based in Antwerp & specialized in lifestyle interior & architectural photography.
Mr.Frank is born out of a passion for objects, interiors & architecture.
But most of all for interiors that are on a human scale, without a design that is too cold & sharp.
The little story behind the name is a nice one: Peter read an article on the legendary photographer Robert Frank that just died (2019), and in the article the name Mr.Frank popped-up all the time.
When in the search of a name for his new project, the name was quickly chosen... Have a look at his website / @mr_frank_photo
The type of interiors is very different but you see that the inhabitants share a passion for a home with a soul.
All beautifully spotlighted by the precise eye of Mr.Frank.
In the meanwhile some high end Belgian media spotted his qualitative work and will cover it in media such as @sabatomagazine & De Standaard Magazine @destandaardmagazine @destandaard
And right they are!📸📸
