You may recognize Peter Nash Garas from our new Here for Life commercial. What you may not know is how personal this role was for him.

For Peter, bringing this story to life meant drawing on his own family’s experiences at @northyorkgeneral and the compassionate care that helped them through life-defining moments.

Hear a little of his story, in his own words. 💙

Peter’s story is one of so many that remind us why exceptional, compassionate care matters.

Our Here for Life campaign will help bring that care to more patients and families — and you can be part of it.

Grateful to have been trusted with directing this short film for North York General in Toronto. Watching @petergaras deliver this honest and unflinching performance was remarkable and defined this film.

Couldn’t have been done without the trust and collaboration of our new friends at @courageideas.

That time we made a Batman movie...

In 2019, I had wanted to do a retrospective on the two Tim Burton Batman movies on the eve of the first Keaton outings 30th anniversary. However while production began in 2019, Covid shut it down for about a year and a half. We returned to it around the clock for two months of solid night shoots in the spring of 2022 which fell on Batman Returns 30th instead.

It was a gruling shoot with little sleep and my first real endover in a lot of things, night shooting, minitures, pyrotechnics, filming in cats, make up appliances. All firsts for me which not only got me outta covid but back into making full time videos as a job with a crew again.

That's where I can't thank everybody involved enough especially @wmtoddbennett @amethyst_cos and especially @petergaras as Harvey Two Face which we hope to work again with in the future.

A bat mood had been brewing today and I reflected a lot on my last two endovers in Gotham City. Something I hope to get back to in 2027.
