saturday november 14 at good room 🖤

Riotvan (@riotvan_family) turns 20 and brings the celebration to Brooklyn. Born in Leipzig in 2006 as a raw underground party series, Riotvan grew into one of the city’s defining house labels, and its two heads, Peter Invasion (@peterinvasion) and Panthera Krause (@panthera_krause), are marking 240 months with a night in the main room. Peter founded the crew and has played everywhere from Panorama Bar to Robert Johnson, while Panthera, a producer, illustrator and designer, helped steer the label toward its playful, dancefloor focused sound. Timo Lee (@timolee) joins them for the night.

Over in the bad room, Mike Simonetti (@mikesimonetti) takes over all night. Founder of Troubleman, cofounder of Italians Do It Better and half of Pale Blue, Mike brings one of the deepest and most unpredictable record bags in New York.

Last Sunday afternoon was the first time I took my entire album outside the studio and performed it live. I really couldn’t have asked for a better floor than my beloved Pano.

Big love to everyone who was there, and to the whole crew. The energy we shared was very, very special.❤️🏢🥹🙏🏼

As you’ve probably already noticed, we’re celebrating something very special this year: 240 months of Riotvan. And 240 months means countless familiar faces along the way. So what better way to celebrate than with a special compilation of our Familiar Faces series? Coming this Friday.

My Rated R itinerant party series, running since 2018, was created to showcase artists who have inspired me, artists I’ve inspired, and—above all—friends. Over the years, it has featured guests such as @michael__mayer @tiga @whomadewho @dubfire @ericdunks @atamacias @therealacidpauli @officialgusgus @trulyfantastictwins @peterinvasion @saschafunke_music, some of the finest talents from the Mexican scene, and many more.

Now, Rated R is evolving into a music source, releasing unique productions guided by the same ethos. The first release comes from one of my personal favorite institutions: Rub N Tug, the duo formed by @ericdunks and @tomofenglandland, renowned for their singular approach to both the dance floor and production.

The track? “Momentum” A rare gem from these two, born from hours of recorded jam sessions. Having already surfaced in a couple of different versions, it now returns with a @paulor_paulor jam-packed with layers of psychedelia, alongside Rub N Tug’s own remix of that rework. Vinyl and digital available everywhere from today.

Thanks to @mutingthenoise for the distribution and everything else, @panthera_krause for the graphic design, and @thewall_studio for the mastering. And last but not least, @peterinvasion for making it happen.

Rated R is happening!

CLASS B BAND MUSTANG ROAD (RCF056) OUT NOW

Two supercharged tracks for the dancefloor or your favorite vintage ride. After 15 years making music together, @beadollz and Beatmaster G take you on a one way trip where vintage cars become spaceships and the road turns into outer space. Cosmic house, funky raw breaks, dirty sexy electro, cinematic references and a lot of humor.
Plus two peak time electro remixes: @alvarocabana_rottencity with @itsfrankydrama, and @peterinvasion with @gregor.habicht.
