(Link in bio) Two Tshepos on creative chemistry, good directors and protecting the idea 🍻IDIDTHAT & HEINEKEN Beverages presents I SAID THAT, the Q&A series featuring South Africa’s top creative talent🍻 Meet Tshepo²: same first name, different disciplines, plenty of creative tension and a shared love of making work that feels really South African. Tshepo Tumahole and Tshepo Mogorosi have been making award-winning work together at Joe Public for almost a decade, first as Copywriter and Art Director, now as Creative Directors. Clearly, pairing two Tshepos was a very good idea.

I had to stretch a few different creative and technical muscles on this ad for KFC Rewards, directed by Pete Pohorsky from Plank Films for Ogilvy JHB. It combines some old skool VFX techniques with a modest sprinkling of the new. It was a very fast paced production for a fast paced concept, so was quite a wild ride. Big thanks to Pete and Seamus and everyone involved!

(Link in bio) 🔥IDIDTHAT Craft Awards Rankings 2025🔥 The numbers don’t lie. Every month, the IDIDTHAT Craft Awards bring together a cross-section of the industry’s best work, with the country’s smartest creatives and production leaders deciding what rises to the top. These are the production companies, directors, editors, and post houses that earned major peer recognition (and a fair amount of industry street cred) across the 2025 monthly IDIDTHAT Craft Awards. If you’re looking for who to work with next, this is a pretty good place to start.

19 birds in the bag 💼 ❤️ My nervous system is still recovering from a whirlwind week but I’m happy to report that we managed to scoop up the first Gold for Comedic Impact for City Lodge SOS. Followed by a flurry of 5 silvers and 13 bronzes for Savanna, Windhoek and City Lodge across multiple categories ranging from Film, OOH, Digital, Radio, Design to Creative Effectiveness, Service Design and Media innovation. I also did a masterclass with Heineken Beverages on creative leadership where i spoke about our job simply being to make people fall in love with what they do and the joy of creating whilst having a mild panic attack ( don’t tell anyone) because lightning struck my house back home and fried all my appliances but that’s a story for another day. 😂⚡️Full on. It was full on but I’m so grateful. I can honestly say that this wouldn’t have happened without the clients who truly back great work and a team of ridiculously talented people who genuinely love what they do. ❤️ My biggest appreciation to @kevinradebe , @peterpo and @its.simply.kai , @ugh.mini , @greigwatt , @galacticsnack, @cretieuys, @alet_vj , @leanne_woods , @sydneyrheeder , @pixel_loo @paikinandeggs , @debs_laing , @reshmibhala , @sizzurrrp , @tumi, @neo, @mish.dish , @kaylysmith , @givenleaves , Tshepo, @bruh_bazz , @thewilloughby , @caroldiannesoames , @johnstone_cat , @sharikaabrahams , @eben_benjamin , @traestme , @darling__tv , @melinamcd , @a.small.girl , @saskia_finlayson , @nick_argyros , @injozi , @tigerfightmusic , @plank_films , @peterpo , @sterlingsoundstudios , @maijaliina , @kaybaebayyy @chante_neu @zetske_posthumus @mathew @eon @csjjones @zukijantjies @kimmy_hunt66 @tammytaylornew , @carissastriker , @kendalzoghby, @sbuthedesigner @andreaquaye @traceyashman73 @finetune_studios @stevegounaris @sonovision @silva_selma and so many more.
