Through a kismet chain of events earlier this year, I was reconnected with @peterstlawrence through my sister @namaste_or_die. He was building a team of volunteer florists to design for @creativegrowth’s annual fashion show. We hadn’t seen each other since we first met, four years ago. I was flowering a mutual friend’s wedding… I was green af, really needed support, and there he was. This time around, I got to be the supporter :) The reality of my freelance work is that I do *a lot* of weddings. Weddings are very high touch, very time sensitive. It was deeply refreshing to have a wildly different opportunity to create, an opportunity with a specifically unfussed mission of WHIMSY. Complimenting the soup-themed dinner, the vessels were repurposed food cans. One of the noted inspirations for the event was @freekeychoir —who I was performing with at the very same time as the fashion show! Truly, kismet af. I had so much FUN much working alongside Peter, @_momoca_ and @setarehb on this. Thank you for the opportunity Peter 🌸

The Marin County Civic Center has spent the last sixty years proving that civic architecture doesn’t have to be boring. For Further Triennial 2027, Works In Progress @worksinprogress_sf brings together a group of artists for “Commons,” an exploration of how design can shape civic life. From August 2026 through March 2027, artists, architects, and designers will develop new furniture and spatial works in dialogue with Frank Lloyd Wright’s landmark civic center. Part exhibition, part experiment, “Commons” will explore new ways to sit, wait, and linger in one of the Bay Area’s most unusual public spaces. Part of Further Triennial. It’s been a week following the most vibrant and joyous event of a lifetime, Beyond Trend @creativegrowth - ( and it has taken a week to recoup from producing it 😅) This fashion show fundraiser presented 100 custom runway looks modeled by 75 artists and community models, a popup shop immediately following the runway, performances by @oaklashdrag performers Iman and @sallylimonplease, soundscapes by @felakutchii cohosted by @kimpaper and @macmodernappealingclothing honoring @matthewhiggs2015 and @jerrysaltz with a fabulous dinner featuring 20 Bay Area chefs, a cake parade with cakes designed by @osaschool students and a finale performance from @fantasticnegrito . ✨✨✨✨ I am GRATEFUL, AMAZED and full of optimism from the vibrant collaborations and community that came together and made this enormously complex event happen. This weekend, we gathered at the Erica Tanov Atelier to celebrate the artists, staff, volunteers, and supporters of Creative Growth (@creativegrowth) after the beyond brilliant Beyond Trend 2026 runway show, and to mark the opening of our month-long exhibition of Creative Growth artwork. For more than a decade, Creative Growth and Erica Tanov have shared a commitment to championing artists and bringing their work into homes, collections, and everyday life. The exhibition at the Atelier remains on view through June 30, featuring paintings, sculptures, textiles, and works on paper by Creative Growth artists. All artwork is available for purchase, with 100% of proceeds supporting both the artists and the organization’s mission. We invite you to visit during our open Atelier hours and discover these remarkable works. The Espasso Apartment curated and designed by Office of Tangible Space for @espasso is now on view at: 144 Vanderbilt Ave, Brooklyn from May 14–19, 10am–6pm and May 20–27 by appointment The installation presents a fully realized residential environment built around a curated selection of historic Brazilian design from Espasso. Conceived as a lived in apartment rather than a showroom, the project explores the relationship between the sculptural weight of the building’s concrete architecture and the warmth, tactility, and material richness of Brazilian modernism. Historic works include designs by Joaquim Tenreiro, Sergio Rodrigues, Claudia Moreira Salles, Oscar Niemeyer, Jorge Zalszupin, Carlos Motta, Giuseppe Scapinelli, and others, alongside contemporary lighting, fiber work, and sculptural pieces by Kawabi, Kat Howard, Peter St. Lawrence, L.T. New York Design Week is going to be a good one. - Nothing Comes from Nothing together with @verso_works - a cross-generational exploration of the enduring nature of creative influence. The exhibition pairs work by leading contemporary designers with historic, museum-quality design pieces to reflect on the continuity of ideas across time and propose that innovation is never created in isolation, but shaped by precedent, process, and lived experience.
