One of the best honor guitar and middle school director’s choice concerts we have seen in the district. Thank you to all the students, educators, parents, and admin who made this possible. The bar for ensemble virtuosity and guitar education has officially been raised here in Clark County.

Excellent performance last night by the 2019 Clark County HS Honor Guitar Ensemble. I can’t thank the organizers and participating directors enough, their students were so well prepared to play a demanding program (the same program which the NAfME All-National Honor Ensemble will play next week in Orlando FL led by Bill Swick). Super shout out to Bill Swick, Matthew Nishimoto, Michael Klein, Peter Federowicz, Lucas Finney, Brian Levanger, and Greg Koenig and the students from Las Vegas Academy, Coronado, Green Valley, Basic, Clark, Desert Oasis, and Legacy High Schools. I even ran into a GFA Guitar Summit alum from 2017!
