President Trump says vote in the 2026 election like he’s in the ballot. President Obama pointed out over the weekend all of the failed promises of the Trump administration and that he seems more concerned with White House renovations than improving the lives of Americans.

This is the last week to vote early in the Midterm election November 3rd. For all of the information you need to know, please go to TheGeorgiaVoterGuide.com

Trump says vote in this election like he’s on the ballot… We agree.

He’s not an A number. He’s a human.

I’ve never been so ashamed to be an American and so committed to fighting for change.

We are treating humans worse than animals. People are in camps akin to Holocaust camps.

One of the LGBTQ immigrants we wrote to during our letter writing night wrote us back. Everyone in those cages is human, but the tears have streamed down my face several times tonight.

Organizations like @officialblmp and @bdlinitiative have opportunities to write the humans who our government is profiting off of their suffering. Let them know they are not forgotten. And do whatever you can to make sure we stop this death machine and for profit prisons.

We are all more alike than they want us to know. We’re not a number. Everyone is someone’s world. Everyone is worthy of fresh air and freedom.

Don’t give up. I’m with you.

Yo Yo Yo welcome back! Earlier this week we spoke about how the Summer is one of the worst times for child food hunger. This is because during the year many students get their breakfast and lunch through school programs.

But... Once School is out the issues start to arise. These issues could like parents having to strech meals, less meals in the house, bigger grocery budgets, and so much more.

In order to combat this communites have implemented a plethora of solutions to include - Summer Meal Programs, Mobile meal sites, community partnerships, and enrollment awareness.

Make sure you're following PGA_MGA for the whole campaign and for ways to help solve this crisis.

If we truly want to end child food hunger then we need to plan for all year round, and not just the school year. This is the 50% project.

Imagine opening your paycheck and knowing almost half of it is already gone.

For lower-income neighbors in Southwest Georgia, 45% of every check goes to keeping the lights and phones on. Before groceries. Before gas. Before anything is left for the “what ifs.”

Residents like Tara Gooden have to work two jobs just to keep the lights on.

Poverty here is twice the national average. In Albany, the median household income is $47,240, and the largest share of residents, 11.2%, live on less than $10,000 a year. Ten thousand dollars. For a whole year. For a whole family.

This isn’t about anyone “not working hard enough.” These are the results of countless decisions determining wages, bills, and who gets help.

Now, the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” (HR-1) is slashing programs Southwest Georgians count on, from healthcare to food assistance. When there’s already nothing left to cut from, a cut isn’t just a budget line. It’s a missed meal, a skipped appointment, or an unpaid bill. Many Georgians can’t afford to keep living like this.
Southwest Georgia families deserve to see the receipts.

Welcome back, to week 6 of the 50% project. Last we spoke about how transportation issues can exacerbate the child food insecurity crisis.

Today, we speak about the "Summer Nutrition Gap" which is used to describe the time period of Summer where meals are not provided daily as they are during the school year. There are a few ways that communities look to help reduce this - Summer meal sites, mobile feeding routes, community partnerships, and enrollment awareness have all been shown to curb the numbers.

If we truly want to end child food insecurity then we have to plan for all year, and not just the school year. Make sure you're following PGA_MGA for the whole campaign and for ways to help solve this crisis

The film is now live and available to watch.

Southwest Georgia, in their own words. The bills that don't add up. The checks that are half gone before they land. The choices no family should have to make, and the people who made them anyway because no one gave them another option.

None of this is abstract. Utility bills, food assistance, healthcare, and the cost of getting by are shaped by decisions, and the people who make those decisions are chosen at the ballot box. Election Day is November 3rd. Make a plan to vote.
Southwest Georgia families deserve to see the receipts.

📲 If you live in Southwest Georgia, this is still your invitation: share your story at showusthereceipts.com. This film was built from this region's stories, and there are more to tell.

You can also watch the film over on our YouTube channel. Link in bio.
