I recently embarked on a week-long solo hiking trip through the Pacific Northwest, specifically Olympic National Park and the Oregon Coast. Something I had never done before, but I was up for the challenge.

This was my birthday gift to myself. My own mini Eat, Pray, Love trip.

Along the way, I visited Seattle, Port Angeles, Marymere Falls, Lake Crescent, Forks, La Push, Second Beach, Hoh Rainforest, Ruby Beach, Kalaloch Beach, Lake Quinault, Astoria, Cannon Beach, Ecola State Park, Indian Beach, Cape Kiwanda, Portland and Multnomah Falls.

But this trip became about so much more than the places I visited and hiked.

It gave me the opportunity to let go of some things. It gave me confirmation on others. And, most importantly, it restored me.

Being in nature grounds me and brings me so much joy, and this trip proved that more than I could have ever imagined.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing more photos and videos from the trip, along with some of my experiences, reflections and lessons from along the way.

The Harriman Cup 2026, presented by J. Press! 🏇

One of my favorite events of the year!

Growing up in a family involved in equestrian sports, there's something special about being around these beautiful horses. It always brings me so much joy, especially when I get to enjoy the experience with friends.

Polo is such an exciting sport, and honestly, what's not to love? Getting dressed up, watching a high-energy match, enjoying good food, drinks, lots of laughs, and of course, some dancing!

It's the perfect combination of sport, style, and a good time. Already looking forward to next year!

Moments in Windham, Vermont. 🍂

Nothing like a weekend in a beautiful historic farmhouse surrounded by nature.

I appreciate moments like this because they give me time to relax, reflect, and reset. Living in a fast-paced city like New York, it’s easy to feel like you always need to be moving quickly just to keep up, which is partially true.

But moments like this remind me of the importance of slowing down. Of being present. Of appreciating where I am instead of always thinking about what’s next.

Not everything needs to happen immediately. Sometimes, slowing down is exactly what you need. #Vermont

When I tell y’all my birthday was a whole vibe, I mean it! New Orleans set the stage, but the real magic? My people. The love that traveled across the country just to celebrate with me—unmatched. My heart is still dancing in the glow of that night, holding onto the music, the energy, and the laughter we shared. Seeing my tribe show up, feeling that deep gratitude… whew, I’m blessed beyond measure! Moments like these remind me just how rich life is when you’re surrounded by love. Still basking in it all!

Did you know that polo and madras share a common cultural heritage?

India is the birthplace of modern polo. The game of polo - which is known as “the sport of kings” - is derived from Manipur, where the game was known as pulu. The anglicized form of pulu, referring to the wooden ball that was used, was adopted by the sport in its slow spread to the west.

The fabric madras takes its name from the former name of the city of Chennai in south India. Dutch traders arrived in India in the early 17th century to trade in the local calico cloth, followed by the British. Cotton plaid madras reached America in 1718 as a donation to the Collegiate School of Connecticut, now known as Yale University. Elihu Yale was an English merchant, official of the East India Company, and benefactor and namesake of Yale.
