Two freshly colored cakes for all the August celebrations! 🎂🎈
Another Inklings buddy with the lovely @phee17. On my page, I tried a Bokeh with colored pencils; it definitely takes patience that I don’t always have, so it’s not perfect, but I’m still happy with the result. Here’s another buddy color with my friend @phee17🌼🌸
We decided to do the opposite page of our last flowers page in Inklings, using the same color palette. I also included a side-by-side of my pages; I think they look good together.

A key among many little flowers in Rooms of Wonder by Johanna Basford. 🌺

This page was inspired by a beautiful piece of art that @phee17 did on the very same image in Inklings 🐚🌊.

I used my @kingartcompany Gel Sticks for the background, @derwentartofficial Drawing Pencils, @penteluk Hybrid Dual Metallics and some white gouache for the water effects.

This is a very special page for me because it is my first-ever buddy color!
I am so happy to be doing this with my coloring friend @phee17, who told me how it works and waited patiently until I finished my page😊
We chose this lovely page from Botanicum by Maria Trolle.
For the background, I was inspired by a wonderful video from @zucchinikitty; hers was done with distress inks, but I chose soft pastels in case I mess it up, since they can be erased😅

I can't believe I forgot to post this after finishing it, but this was my last page done in February. February was a rough month for coloring for sure. I just haven't been in the mood to color much and forced myself to finish this page. I'm not thrilled with it, but happy I completed another page in this beautiful book. This page was also heavily inspired by @phee17 s version of the same page!

This was my First time using Pastels and with the help and guidance from @phee17 I tried something new and I Absolutely loved it. I know my background could have been better, but with practice I’ll get the pastel process down. I didn’t want to ruin my book so I went light, because I was afraid to over do it 😂
