There is a particular kind of loneliness that comes when the life you built no longer fits, but the next version of you hasn’t fully revealed herself yet. You may be successful, capable, and the person everyone else turns to. And still find yourself quietly wondering: What do I want now? Who am I becoming? And why can’t I make this decision? You’re not lost. You’re between versions of yourself. You don’t need another person telling you what you should do. You need space to hear what you already know, work through what’s keeping you stuck, and choose your next move. That’s the work I do with women at the edge of their next chapter. If you’re ready to stop circling and start moving, book a call with me through the link in my bio. Let’s uncover what’s next, together.

@pherneducationstudios is an expert in her field, but her digital presence didn't reflect the brilliance of her work. We partnered with her to refine her messaging, and create a brand identity that matches her bold, confident voice. Because when you are doing transformative work, your brand should be just as powerful. #femaleentrepreneurs #expertbranding #personalbranding #coachlife #womeninleadership

Workplace culture is often built on unspoken assumptions. 👉 That you’re fine with Slack pings at 9pm. 👉 That you prefer public praise. 👉 That your silence means “no problem.” Consent and clarity should be the baseline—not just in friendships, but in leadership, collaboration, and feedback. ⚠️ If we want human-centered workspaces, we have to ask better questions, like: How do you like to communicate? How do you want feedback? What kind of support feels good when you’re under pressure? How do you want to be held in space—and how do you hold space for others? This is people-led management in practice. No fluff. Just humanity. Check out more on this in my conversation with Abbiola @pherneducationstudios in the most recent episode of the podcast! ID: slide 1: a graphic with a black and white photo of an office space, the gold steffgallante logo a gray transparent square with white font ““How do you want to be held in space at work?” And how do you hold space for others? That’s a leadership question. That’s a justice question. It’s also a consent question. It shouldn’t be left up to assumption.” slide 2: a graphic with a purple to white gradient background, purple text: Humaning: the shit we need to talk about, Episode 69: Brave space > safe space: what human-powered teams need, with guest Abbiola Ballah, and photos of Steff and Abbiola. a graphic with a black and white photo of an office space, a gray transparent square with white font and the gold steffgallante logo

Abbiola Ballah is on the podcast! The shit we need to talk about this week: people-centered leadership and conflict resolution is needed now more than ever before. And what’s more, having a space to establish your wants, needs, and how you desire to be held by others in your roles (and have others be equipped to meet you there or find the support to do so) is the dream for future workplaces (and all relationships). @pherneducationstudios and I discuss the challenges of navigating difficult conversations and leadership in the workplace - including for those who are self-employed. As the Founder of Phern Education Studios, Abbiola (she/her) created a consulting practice dedicated to helping managers navigate complex team dynamics, rebuild trust, and lead with empathy and confidence. This episode: - Emphasizes the importance of understanding and managing the intersection of identities and social dynamics in leadership. - Redefines the term “messy” - why it happens, why it NEEDS to happen, and how to evolve through it with compassion, clarity, and authenticity. - Highlights the need for pausing to reflect and the significance of community agreements and assumptions in fostering inclusive environments. - Explores practical tips, such as setting reminders to reflect on feelings and responses, and the value of transparency and consent in interactions. - Encourages dreaming of a time when space is opened for you to establish your wants, needs, and how you desire to be held by others in your roles (and have others be equipped to meet you there or find the support to do so). For me, this was the sweetest part of the discussion! And so much more! Our conversation turned down so many avenues that we did not originally anticipate and all of it wove together to create a really beautiful and raw dialogue. I really hope you enjoy it! Jump in for all the goodness wherever you listen! a graphic with a purple to white gradient background, purple text, and photos of Steff and Abbiola.
