While festival-goers sip, savor and shop they can dance in the street with live music spread along the festival footprint at six locations. Music line-up is as follows:

1:45pm to 3:15pm – City Rhythm
3:30pm to 5:00pm – Brown Sugar

2:00pm to 5:00pm – Cordelia Blue

Over two dozen restaurants, bars and cafes will bring their signature dishes and drinks outside alongside local vendors, music acts and kids’ activities. Craft beer, wine and seasonal sips will be pouring to quench your thirst. Shop and stroll as Avenue retailers and boutiques offer spring sidewalk sales and specials for the day. Enjoy the best of Philadelphia’s maker scene with over 80+ artists and crafters. Family fun will include balloons, bounce house, arts and crafts, games and more.

Working in Philadelphia has its challenges, but having a former student stop by and throw down the amazing skills they’ve developed since you saw them 4 years ago is one of the things that makes it all worth it. I was blessed to work with Anthony at String Theory school in 2017, and ran into him at the Rite Aid around the corner from my house on Saturday! I asked if he would like to play drumset for madbeatzphilly, and he said yes. The world is a better place 🙂
