Phil pairs 3D printing with the Bambu Lab R1 to create a large-scale lamp - the kind of project that once would've required heavy machinery to build.

The R1 delivers clean cuts through transparent acrylic, with a work area large enough to bring a project like this to life on a desktop.

As Phil puts it: "Over the years, I've realised not all tools are created equal. Some have this special ability to inspire us and change who we are as makers."

And that's the point. The right tool can quietly expand what a maker believes is possible, at home, on a desk, without compromise.
