🍾The wines used were

🧪Fake Sauvignon Blanc “Cuvée Chemistry”: Unoaked Chardonnay base + 4-MMP (passion fruit, elderflower) + IBMP (green bell pepper, tomato leaves) + tartaric acid (acidic taste). This was poured in the left and right glass.

💯Real Sauvignon Blanc: Mount Fishtail Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough. This was poured in the middle glass.

Hey, I’m Jess 👋
I'm an American based in Luxembourg and the Founder of Philosophy of Wine.

My wine journey began as a young lawyer in London, when the fear of ordering wine for client dinners propelled me to take my first class. Beating my wine-expert boss on the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 2 exam showed me the power of learning wine in a structured way.

That journey took me through the WSET Diploma, where I won the Lustau Sherry Trophy 🏆, and now into the Masters of Wine study program. As a WSET Certified Educator (Wines), I love making wine concepts clear, engaging, and genuinely fun.

Along the way, I’ve earned additional certifications including:
• Certified Port Educator • Vinitaly Italian Wine Ambassador • Valpolicella Wine Specialist • ICEX Spanish Wine Educator • French Wine Scholar (FWS)

Philosophy of Wine was born from a simple belief: learning about wine should be as fun as drinking it. 🍾

How is your Luxembourgish 🇱🇺?! Here is my girl on another EU Agricultural Mission, this time in São Paulo, Brazil. While there, she promoted the premium wines and Cremant (bubbly🥂) of Domaine Alice Hartmann where she is the export manager. Luxembourg's national news (RTL) was also in São Paulo, and aired a nice segment. Here it is as seen at home with the kiddos in Luxembourg! I marvel at how comfortable Jess is in front of the camera! Sound up!
