Grateful for every little thing in July 🤎 #pilates #reformerpi̇lates #julydump📸🧚🏽✨💫⭐️⚡️ Everyone asks why I wake up at 4am… This is the time where I choose myself first, so I can show up better for my husband, my kids, my clients, and all the roles I carry ✨ This might look repetitive, but it’s one of my favourite parts of the day 🤍 Same food, every day, and I still enjoy every bite. Mum life is easier when breakfast and lunch are already sorted ✨ Something non-negotiable family time ✨ Coffee run in between school drop off and work 🤎 Teaching what I love 🥰 Nothing is more rewarding than watching your clients progress 🤍 Learning all about class programming from amazing @phlex.co Something new & challenging. Watching the success of Morena felt like witnessing something much bigger than an event. It felt like a movement, a homecoming, a love letter to every brown-skinned girl who has ever wondered if she was enough. You created a blueprint—not just for Filipinas, but for all women of colour—to proudly take up space, to embrace their beauty without apology, and to see themselves reflected in a room full of people who understood their story. What made Morena so special wasn’t simply the beauty on display. It was the culture. The history. The pride. The sense of belonging. You brought together a community that has always existed, but through your vision, you gave it a place to gather, celebrate, and remember where it comes from. You reminded people that being Filipino is not just an identity—it’s a feeling, a heritage, a connection that lives within us no matter where we are in the world. I watched you pour your heart into every detail, and what emerged was something truly remarkable. You created an atmosphere where people weren’t just attending an event; they were coming home. Home to their roots, their culture, their stories, and to each other. What made it even more meaningful to me was the way you welcomed Janabakes into that space. Being included in something so intentional, so impactful, and so deeply rooted in community was an incredible honour. I’ll forever be grateful that you saw a place for Janabakes within your vision and allowed me to be part of such a beautiful celebration of culture and identity. It meant more than you know to contribute, even in a small way, to something that touched so many people. Your support, trust, and belief in me is something I will always carry with me.

GWK is and will be always more than just a lash brand I was able to use lashes as a platform to share how I see the world. The beauty of meeting people from so many walks of life, my personal village of friends and family, my amazing lash community, the business owners and vendors I’ve been able to meet through working and connecting with people. There may not be another reason why so many amazing and beautiful minds and souls that I’ve encountered in my life would ever meet Whilst yes, this was dedicated to a collection of products I am coming out with and it might not make sense to some people. Being ashamed of being Morena is representative and relative to so many other things too. I’m sure all of us have felt ashamed of parts of ourselves that we felt we needed to hide, this is an experience that transcends through all ages, genders and people. I hope I was able to give you a glimpse through the lens of how I see the world through Morena. The beauty of community, celebrating and being welcomed Whilst yes this is more than just lashes I still need to pay homage to my lash business at the end of the day, more than just a lash brand but it is a core part of this business and how this was able to come intro fruition.
