✂️ COMMUNITEA CRAFTER: @phoenixalixart ✂️

We asked a few members of our crafty CommuniTEA to test out Favorito with a project they’ve been wanting to make & let us know what they think about our new yarn! 🧶

Today’s CommuniTEA Crafter is Phoenix aka @phoenixalixart! ✌️ Phoenix is a painter, fiber artist & friend of TeamNTP! (We're currently obsessing over her granny square balaclavas — omg!) 😱

We asked Phoenix to share some details about herself & her Favorito project (which can be yours — shop the link her bio!). 🙂 Read on below 👇

💥 WHAT ARE YOUR FAVE CRAFTS?

Crocheting (of course), painting, and tufting (rug making)

💥 TELL US ABOUT YOUR PROJECT!

I crocheted a granny square vest with a laced front closure using Favorito in Guinda, Ocre, Naranja Fluorescente, Blanco & Jade. I made my own pattern for this vest! (Note: Pattern not available but the vest is available for purchase in Phoenix's shop bludog.net!)

💥 ANY TIPS?

I used a 3.75mm hook and it was perfect for the job.

💥 WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS PROJECT?

I had made a couple of sweaters using granny squares in the past, but never a vest. I wanted to go for something with a 70’s/groovy vibe & with the amount of crazy awesome colors available I thought a granny square vest would be a perfect way to go with that 70s theme while also showing off multiple colors.

💥 WHAT DO YOU THINK OF FAVORITO YARN?

I loved working with Favorito. It’s definitely the lightest weight yarn I’ve ever worked with. I think this is a great yarn for projects both big and small, and the colors are unbeatable.

Have any questions about this project?? Drop them below! 👇

Stay tuned for more amazing Favorito creations from our crafty CommuniTEA!! 👯‍♀️✂️🧶
