World traveller with a love of colour and movement AND a good cup of coffee!!

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

An unforgettable Easter weekend in Sydney with my beautiful, talented, and generous friend of 40 years, @photobyjanet. We spent our days laughing, reminiscing, and walking until our feet hurt! We caught the brilliant Bette and Joan play @ ensembletheatre, enjoyed some incredible meals & drinks @goodluck_hotpot and @theoldfitz, in Woolloomooloo. As two former librarians, spending time at the State Library was pure heaven.
Wrapped up the weekend with the incredible Penny, from @homeless_not _nameless, who has spent every Sunday for the last nine years tirelessly supporting the homeless community in Woolloomooloo. While the environment can be confronting—with tensions often running high—the deep respect everyone has for her is truly beautiful to witness. It’s a powerful reality check that puts everything into perspective and leaves you feeling incredibly humble. #ensembletheatre #goodluck_hotpot #theoldfitz #homeless_not_hopeless

Last night I watched Jackie Brown, a Tarantino movie, starring Pam Grier, the opening scene sparked so many great memories…it reminded me of my wife ❤️ and her life as a flight attendant.
Her career at Qantas highlighted all her beautiful qualities, creative, compassionate, empathetic, adventurous, patient, independent, strong, resourceful and resilient.
She was so warm hearted, she put everyone else first .
She had a great sense of humour and loved life.
I’m so grateful I met her, she made me a better person.
This sculpture is for her and all the beautiful humans I met flying.
I hope this one sparks joy and fond memories for @naz_fazio @sharneerichardson @photobyjanet @claudianotclaudia @lisa_bottazzo @andy__barlow @bromwichfambam @livingstone.barbara @saltylivingwamberal @reneiles @mich100 @blueylamb @cathyvicary @pearlbodine100 @iworkinazoo 👩‍✈️🧑‍✈️

As a side note the service industry is so under appreciated, the little things these people do can make such a positive influence on your day.
Happy Friday

Now I know what all the hype is about. This is quite possibly the best museum I have ever been to. Absolutely loved it.
