Happy International Women's Day to all the strong women in my life, especially this badass who just ran a half marathon this morning. Well done Allison, proud of you.

Happy Birthday Allison. We had another great year together and the next one is sure to be even better. We keep hitting milestones but this next one will be our biggest yet. Thanks for saying "yes". Excited to spend the rest of our days together.

The amount of love and support I felt returning to this BEAUTIFUL “hometown” was everything I needed and more.

Thank you @lezzy1234 @cassadilla.j @madelynemae @em_hart15 @william.harkcom and @toothpastekissins for sharing your lovely homes with me. As well as all the people who offered to give me a place to stay during this nomadic stage of my life.

The connections I’ve made over the years spent in this little mountain town are so precious to me. No matter the distance between or time apart, I know I can always come back and be greeted with open arms. Even if it was just a small conversation or a quick hug in passing, every Salida interaction has made such an impact on my life and the adventure going forward.

Keep the adventure going, my friends. I’ll see you next time. 🤍

Had some VIPs sitting across the bar yesterday. So glad my sisters came out for a visit.

"Oh what fun it is to ride"

Allison and I have skied on Christmas but today was too nice not to ride bikes. Happy Holidays to everyone, no matter how you chose to celebrate!!

It's been quite a journey, 20 years since my first #14, Longs Peak, all the way to my last, Wilson Peak. I think back to all the great trips and the many people who were on top of peaks with me. I think a lot about Utley and how many summits we shared. I think about my Pop-Pop, who asked me about if I had climbed any peaks lately and always believed I would finish them all. I know lots of people climb all the 14ers and it's an accomplishment that takes dedication but that most people that want to do it badly enough surely can. I certainly didn't set any records, but I did it my way. I tackled a lot of the harder routes out there because of my love of a good challenge, my desire to avoid crowds, and mostly because they are way more fun than walking to the top. Thanks to everyone who ever joined me on a climb, who encouraged me along the way, and congratulated me for a successful summit. Thanks especially to Allison, Jordan and Travis for joining me on my final climb (and to Herzog and Ueli, the mountaineering pups who made a valiant effort on the exposed cliffs of Wilson). I finally got to check that last box on my 14er checklist that hangs proudly on my wall and I'm looking forward to seeing the final entries that Joni will make in my 14er scrapbook.

You can tell, from that look in her eyes, that she likes her birthday cake. Happy B-Day to the biggest blueberry fan the world has ever known.

Allison signed us up with the Humane Society to foster dogs that are waiting to be adopted into their forever home. Last week, we had Oakley at our house for a few days. It was a pleasure getting to hang with her, and we were happy to find out she was adopted over the weekend. Her new family will love her, she's a sweet girl who showed more personality each day we had her. #dogsofinsta #fosterdogsofinstagram

I got lots of nice gifts for Christmas, but what I really wanted was some fresh powder turns✅, some face shots✅, and a mountaintop sunset✅. Thank you to Monarch Pass for delivering the goods. I hope everyone got what they wanted for Christmas.
