Really nice to re-discover my first LP via this lathe cut vinyl from @elasticstage - it sounds really good and looks fantastic! The songs on the album were made between 2004 and 2009 and are quite far from what I do today, you can really hear the post rock and idm glitch electronica influences on it. The vinyl is made to order and takes a couple of weeks to arrive, you have to order it from Elastic stage directly (link in biog) There is also CD available if you prefer as the original cd release is long out of stock. I added some of the remixes and b-sides from the various EPs I released around that time as well on the cd version.

A window onto another time. This is a very early release of mine, and my first experience of self-releasing, back in 2009. Radiohead had made everyone think they could make it without a record label with the “pay what you want” release of In Rainbows the year before. Only, not everyone had the backing of a major label for 10+ years beforehand and, well… not everyone is Radiohead! Besides that, it’s interesting to see how harsh the critique can be — something I very rarely see these days. Publications seem to either praise something or simply not publish anything at all. You’ll also notice the Myspace mention. Those were the days! That record ended up being picked up by Laurent Garnier — @laurent_garnier — who played it on his radio show It Is What It Is (next to a Radiohead track, actually, if my memory serves me well — so take that Ben Wood!). A very proud moment for me, for sure!
