Today, we welcomed nearly two dozen small business owners to Washington, DC to speak with members of Congress, their staff and key committees about the top issues concerning small business owners.

This is an exciting opportunity for business owners from our network to not only make their voices heard in Washington, but also connect with each other.

We were so inspired to watch small business owners advocate for their needs.

Tune in tomorrow for more!

What started as a warm day at a Texas outlet mall for Mia and Ondrey Lawson turned into a life-changing idea. After some convincing, Ondrey tried an Italian ice that Mia had picked up while shopping. He loved it. That simple moment sparked a bigger question: why wasn’t this refreshing treat more accessible in a place as hot as Texas?

A few years later, armed with an MBA and a formal business plan, the couple launched @phrostbiteice, a frozen dessert business offering signature Italian ice in a plethora of unique and creative flavors.

Check out our latest blog on these Texas entrepreneurs turning sweet treats into community, joy and legacy.

Today was truly a blessing. 💙✨

Having the opportunity to visit the high school and support students who have taken the big step of applying for college was such an honor. Being able to stand as an example, encourage them, and remind them that their dreams are possible made me feel incredibly privileged and grateful.

Thanks to the amazing support from our community and our partnering companies @glosscarautoshop @k8atowingllc @carlosrodriguezoficial_ @leadwithbalance @josephelectric @phrostbiteice @elitechiroeast, we were able to donate 6 microwaves and 2 baskets filled with pillows and sheets to help these students prepare for their next chapter in life.

Small blessings can make a big difference, and we are honored to be part of creating that impact.

At Serenity Esthetics & More, we believe in giving back, supporting education, and uplifting our future leaders. Thank you to everyone involved in making this event possible—together, we are building stronger communities. ✨🙏

One of my deepest passions in life is giving back, but rather than just put together community events—I believe in creating community EXPERIENCES. This holiday season, I brought snow to the city block on an 80-degree day, turning a sun-drenched corner into a magical winter playground. A day where not a single dollar exchanged hands, but a ton of labor, time, and effort from incredible volunteers, sponsors, and vendors made it possible. Priceless is an understatement!

I’m beyond #grateful for everyone who showed up, rolled up their sleeves, and believed in this vision. None of this would have been possible without y’all!

A special shout-out to my amazing host @exoticpop , and @theupgradeboutique —thank you for believing in the dream, supporting me along the way, and giving me the space to create an experience for our city. Your support helped me bless families during the holidays in a truly unforgettable way!

Ivan’s 3rd Annual Winter Wonderland Toy Giveaway was a complete #SUCCESS !!! To everyone who joined, volunteered, donated, or shared the moment—you helped turn a spark into something magical. Here’s to more experiences, more joy, and more reason to believe in the power of community. #ThankYou , #HappyHolidays & #MerryChristmas !!

Houston’s favorite Italian ice team, @phrostbiteice , serves air-beaten, fruit-infused Italian ice that offers a smooth, ice-cream-like texture that brings their customers back for more! Their Icicle Tricycle makes it possible for them to show up at markets, festivals, school events, and neighborhood celebrations. We’re inspired by seeing small businesses with heart and community pride thriving.

The vendors took it all to the next level: @grazecraze_kingwood_tx @phrostbiteice @party.planet.rentals.htx @visibly_illustrated 🙌🏻

We loved making all the swag for our guests - can’t wait to see it worn around town! 🤩

We ended the day with leftovers so we called a local fire department to come get it all for their fire station! 🚒
