We’ll be collecting donations at our events, clinics and training sessions throughout the campaign.

• Clean, gently used coats, sweaters and pants
• Boots, hats, scarves and gloves
• NEW socks and underwear
• Unopened toiletries

We’ve wrapped up our CCRN municipal forums!

Thank you to the parties and candidates who joined us to share their priorities with our group in the Downtown Eastside: Vote Vancouver, OneCity, COPE, Vancouver Greens, Vancouver Liberals, and TEAM.

Each party spoke to our community’s priorities- housing, Health, and the Economy in the DTES and took questions from our partners. We’ve heard their promises, and we’re ready to hold them accountable if elected.

A huge thank you to the organizations who helped sponsor these forums: UGM, Binners’ Project, Hogan’s Alley Society, PHS Community Services, and CIRES.

(And yes, next time, we’ll get a better photographer 😅)

This past weekend, we witnessed 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. 🤍

Youth reminding adults what it means to lead with heart, to show up for one another, and to keep pushing through with compassion, kindness, and humanity at the center.

We extend our deepest gratitude to all of our community partners, volunteers, youth, families, and supporters who came together to help create such a meaningful day. Your presence, generosity, and willingness to serve continue to remind us what is possible when people move with love and intention.

Every day, PHS Community Services Society prepares more than 2,300 meals for residents and program participants across Vancouver and Victoria. The organization’s food program ensures people in supportive housing have access to nutritious, reliable meals. We spoke with Senior Manager of Procurement Andrew Adam about the program and the growing demand behind it.
