Carol in her late 80's makes the core stability needed on the Parasetter by @physicalmind look easy.

Benefits of using a Parasetter are many including....

Back pain relief through a dual-roller setup designed to work along the spine.
Lowering stress / cortisol
Improved spinal alignment and posture via targeted breathing and stretching exercises.
Better breathing mechanics when used with “posterior lateral breathing” exercises, intended to optimize diaphragmatic movement.
Increased flexibility and mobility—the dual-roller system is supporting stretches that can improve flexibility in the intercostal muscles, spine, and fascia.

🌸 Pilates progress isn’t about rushing to the next level. 💗

✔️ It’s about feeling your abdominals engage, connecting your breath to every movement, improving your balance, and moving with greater control and precision.

✅ Repetition is where we build strength, deepen our understanding, and truly master the movement.

🎶 Every level offers room to learn, grow, and get stronger.

💕 Comprehensive Pilates, taught with purpose. 🌸

⭐ Saturday Spotlight ⭐

💪🏽 Dave has been part of Pump N Pilates from the very beginning, and we’re so proud to celebrate his 250th session!

🫶🏽 At 76, he stays active, enjoys golf, and makes time for Pilates twice a week. Dave set a personal goal to reach 250 classes, and he did it with consistency and commitment.

🌸 He’s also such a bright light in the studio—always positive and chatting with other members. As Dave says, “I know I can’t stop the aging process, but I can slow it down.” He also shared that PNP has become a way of life for him and that he looks forward to every Wednesday and Saturday.

💕 Dave, we’re grateful to have you as part of our PNP family. Congratulations on 250 sessions!

Teacher life 💪🏽 In between classes = just enough time to sneak in a few reps… and turn up my favorite kind of music. 🎶

A few here. A few there. It all adds up. 😂
Time management at its finest.

Love what you do. Do what you love. And when you find five minutes… move. 🤍

Another one of our favorite tools for helping the body slow down is the Parasetter.

We use the Parasetter in the studio to create space for deeper breathing, gentle spinal decompression, and intentional relaxation. Its unique dual-roller design supports the spine while encouraging your rib cage to expand with each breath, making it easier to connect with your breath and settle into your body’s natural “rest and digest” state.

Some of the reasons we love incorporating it into sessions:

• Encourages diaphragmatic (3D) breathing
• Supports the parasympathetic nervous system through slow, mindful breathing
• Helps open the chest and improve thoracic mobility
• Provides gentle spinal and fascial decompression
• Creates a calming, restorative experience that helps you slow down and reconnect with your body

Sometimes, all it takes is 10 intentional minutes to breathe, reset, and give your nervous system the opportunity to unwind.
