POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It’s been a busy couple of months and it’s so easy to skip over accomplishments and continue to have your head down and keep working. But I wanted to take a moment to recognize some hard work that is paying off. Here’s a little recap of some of their results 🏅

PPA Mesa
🥇 Melissa Bere — 5.0 mixed doubles
🥇 Cole Chiaramonte — 3.0 men’s doubles
🥈 James & Erin Goodnow — 3.5 mixed doubles
🥉 Grace Kosednar — 4.5 women’s doubles

PPA Challengers
🥈 Kelly Goodnow — pro women’s doubles, Seattle
🥈 Kelly Goodnow — pro mixed doubles, Atlanta

Beat the Heat Open | Flagstaff
🥇 Beth Kleinman — 3.5 mixed doubles
🥈 Thierry Zerbib — men’s skinny singles
🥉 Thierry Zerbib — men’s doubles and mixed doubles

🥉 Marta Sondergaard — Labor Day tournament

Medals are exciting, but what makes me proudest is seeing the practice, persistence, and growth behind them. It doesn’t matter to me if my students compete or not but one of the best parts of my job is seeing people grow as players and people. Congratulations to all of you and thanks for choosing me as your coach 💛.

What an absolute rollercoaster of a finale for The New Jersey Fives out in Newport Beach, California! ☀️🏖️ The mornings were gorgeous, but once the sun came out, those courts were absolutely baking—and the action on court was just as hot! 🏓🔥
Facing off against the Palm Beach Royals, we rolled out a lineup configuration that historically only had a 25% win rate. But Grace completely flipped the odds! Repping the Fives, she took on fierce competition—facing a formidable girl and two really solid guys—and went absolute monster mode, winning back-to-back mixed doubles matches 11-3 and 11-9 to carry us into the next round! 👑⚡️
For round 3 against the Orlando Squeeze, another top-tier contender, we didn’t run our ideal lineup structure for the matchup. Grace battled hard under the blazing sun alongside our lower-rated player to pull out a respectable 4-11 against a titan team, and when paired with our top player, they fought down to the wire before coming up just short at 8-11.
Despite coming up short at the end, what an incredible season it has been for our squad! Grace made so many wonderful new friends among the amazing girls on tour and played alongside some truly phenomenal athletes. So beyond proud of her grit, growth, and heart on the court! ❤️💪

NJP Global: Asia Tour spent a few unforgettable days with the players at @djoy_sports_academy during our time in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. 🇻🇳

From the pro shop to the smoothie bar, lounge, lecture room, and even bunks for overnight stays, this facility is next level, and the hospitality was even better.

NJP Global is all about: connection, growth, and building relationships that cross oceans.

Already counting down until the next one…👀👀

This is how junior pickleball grows. Not just through matches, but through moments like these.

NJP Global Asia Tour wrapped, but these players took home new friends and a bigger view of the game and the world.
