Big thank you to Pierce Jackson for coming through DNB NYC RADIO and spending time with us in the studio. It was a real pleasure talking with someone who has been deeply connected to New York Jungle culture for decades. We got into the history, the evolution of the sound, the importance of preserving the roots, and what is happening in the scene right now. Much respect to Pierce for continuing to put real energy into Jungle both on the radio and in the clubs. And if you enjoyed the conversation, make sure you catch Sundays in the Jungle on October 18. Pierce will be continuing the mission in person, bringing together the sound, the history, and the community that keeps Jungle moving forward in New York. Thank you again for being part of DNB NYC RADIO. 📻 90.3 FM WHCR New York 🕛 Tuesday nights 12AM to 4AM 🎙️ Hosted by DJ Benzocaine #PierceJackson #SundaysInTheJungle #DNBNYCRADIO #Jungle #DrumAndBass NYCJungle WHCR903 DJBenzocaine KonkreteJungle JungleCulture

🚨 SPECIAL GUEST ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨 Tuesday, October 13, DNB NYC RADIO welcomes Pierce Jackson live in studio. Born and raised in New York City, Pierce has been DJing since 1997 and has been deeply connected to Jungle culture since his teenage years. He played his first Konkrete Jungle gig at just 17 and has remained committed to the sound ever since. Known for his love of classic Jungle, chopped breaks, and the foundational sounds that helped define the genre, Pierce continues to represent the culture through DJ sets, events, and his own “In The Jungle” radio show on East Village Radio. We’re looking forward to sitting down with him to talk about the history of Jungle in New York, his early days in the scene, how the sound has evolved, and why those original records still hit just as hard today. Expect conversation, history, and serious Jungle selections. 📅 Tuesday, October 13, 2026 🕛 12AM to 4AM 📻 90.3 FM WHCR New York 🌎 Streaming worldwide at WHCR.org 🎙️ Hosted by DJ Benzocaine #PierceJackson #DNBNYCRADIO #Jungle #DrumAndBass #KonkreteJungle WHCR903 DJBenzocaine NYCJungle ClassicJungle EastVillageRadio
