How would you guys describe these insane PC builds and rigs at @aftershockpcau's booth at #PAXAUS this year?

Me and retired Aussie Protoss Legend @probe_sc2 (not to be confused with Snute) set out to appreciate and encapsulate these crazy PCs in as few words as possible.

A few things stay clear... @pigsc2 lives rent free in Probe's head, and Aftershock continues to amaze gamers and PAX attendees with some of the most powerful and creative builds, powered by @aorusanz

Is this the start of a @starcraft @blizzard_anz resurgence?

Our aim was to raise $1,407 for Red Nose this month, a number to reflect Theo's birthday on the 14th of July. With everyone's generosity we have raised $4,845, which is absolutely astounding. This money funds research into SIDS and stillbirth, plus provides support to families that have experienced loss like mine.

+++

In the months after Theo's passing, life was bleak. I woke up every morning with renewed despair when I remembered it was all real. The only thing I looked forward to was sleeping. Unconsciousness was the only time I had respite from grief. Awake, I wondered what the point of anything was.

Eventually we took a trip overseas to get away from it all. I just found new reasons to grieve. People asked if we were on holiday. How could I explain to them that the only reason I could be there is because my son died? It wasn't a holiday, we were desperate to escape.

There came a time when I couldn't keep going on like this. I started reading stories from people with similar experiences. I was surprised that they helped. Here were people who truly knew what it was like to lose a baby. It was both heartbreaking and comforting to read about their losses.

Grief counselling from Red Nose has helped to bring some measure of meaning back into my life. But it will be something I need for a very long time going forward.

Some people forget or don't understand, but we are not just dealing with Theo's passing. He would have turned a year old in July, with an adjusted age of 9 months because he was so premature. Would he have been a ball of energy or a chill baby? A good sleeper or a night terror? Look more like mummy or daddy? We will wonder these kinds of things for the rest of our lives as other kids learn to walk, start school, go through teenage angst, the thousands of milestones we all take for granted.

This is why I'm so touched by everyone's support for Red Nose this month. Funding for research into preventing SIDS and stillbirths is so important, as is the support they provide for grieving families.

Thank you everyone, truly.

Digging through the archives from PiG's STARCON livestream years ago. Still proud of how these turned out.

For the Swarm!

I painted up Sarah Kerrigan from @archonstudio

@pigsc2 shared his early copy the Starcraft Miniatures game with me and asked me to paint it.

So I went wild and gave the queen of blades some copper wire to show the psionic energy coming out of her hands.

UrsaTV is proud to have delivered a LAN qualifier during Stellar Fest giving players an immersive experience in Ottawa. Stellar Fest 1 began about two month ago at @clickesports in Ottawa Canada where we played some 2v2, FFA and selected the final 8 players into the Stellar Fest finals. You can catch the full Merivale 8 Open broadcast on @steadfastsc2's channel.

Here's a look at the Merivale 8 Open... the tour was filmed during the Merivale Brawl Free-For-All. Pretty cool how we can feature some world champions and an Olympic gold medalist in an Ottawa strip mall!
