Core. Stability. Mindful movement. 2 days out. 🙏

This morning’s reformer session with @pilatesem_ at @projectmoodau hit differently.

The focus was core and stabilisation — and my ankle let me know about it almost immediately. Every movement that required balance, control and stability through that joint was a reminder of exactly why I’m having surgery in 2 days.

But instead of fighting it, I did something I don’t always do easily.

I slowed down, listening to the guidance of Emma.

I moved with intention. I listened to what my body was telling me rather than pushing through what it couldn’t give. I let the reformer do what it’s designed to do — force you to be present, be precise, be mindful.

And somewhere in that slowness I found exactly what I needed. Quiet. Clarity. Peace.

With 2 days until surgery the temptation is to go harder, do more, squeeze everything in. But this morning taught me that sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is slow down and actually feel what’s happening in your body.

That’s not weakness. That’s wisdom. 💪

2 days. 🔥
