Taking public safety aviation to the next level

I had the opportunity to experience a demo flight. The Daher Kodiak 900 equipped with a @trakkasystems TRAKKA camera system (a high performance multi-sensor surveillance systems).

Really impressive to see the aircraft’s performance and mission capabilities firsthand. Thanks to @daher_official for the opportunity!

Just another day hoisting, tagging and flying. Gotta love these SAR training ops with the best team on the ground, patient on the hook and us up in the air!

This may be the biggest move of my aviation career.

Been keeping this one quiet for a little while, but I was selected for a Joby eVTOL Flight Test Pilot position tied to Florida’s next step in advanced air mobility.

A new chapter may be closer than I ever expected. More on that soon.

Then I checked the date. April 1st 😂🚁✈️

Airbus helicopters at Verticon @verticon_byvai in Atlanta.

From the Airbus H160 to the H145, H125, and H140, each platform is built around real world missions, medevac, law enforcement, and search and rescue.

Walking the Airbus booth, you can see how each aircraft serves a different role, but the focus stays the same… supporting the crews doing the job.

What aircraft are you currently flying for your mission?

Drones in the airspace…are you seeing more of them lately?

At Verticon, I got a look at a system designed to detect and track drones directly from the aircraft. The ACUS (Airborne Counter UAS) provides real-time detection and geolocation of nearby drones/UAS and their operators, helping give crews the situational awareness they need to respond safely.

What are you seeing in your area?
