Meet our Extraordinary Piñata Dance Collaborators!

Swipe right to get to know the remarkable dancers who bring Cuatro Vientos: Middle of Nowhere to life. 🌬️

Together, these extraordinary dancers embody the spirit of Cuatro Vientos: Middle of Nowhere. Through their artistry, they explore themes of fear, freedom, and solidarity, shedding light on the issues of missing and murdered women with their own strategies of walking alone.

Don't miss the opportunity to witness their powerful performances on June 8th and 10th at the Joe Goode Annex in San Francisco, and on June 16th and 17th at Highways Performance Space in Santa Monica. Prepare to be captivated by their choreography, the evocative soundscape, and the mesmerizing visuals.

Two more days! Come dance with me tomorrow and Wednesday.

Cuatro Vientos (four winds) Int/Adv Dance Classes with Liz Duran Boubion
Hot Spot ODC
M-W
May 8,10,15, an 17
10am-11:30am

An eco-somatic approach to contemporary dance technique that moves from the ground-up, progressing to standing. Dropping in with somatic awareness exercises and heating up the body with modern-release techniques, choreographic phrases and improvisational scores based on Boubion's current work "Cuatro Vientos: Middle of Nowhere". The class is centered on directionality, nature archetypes and 4 levels of awareness (physical, emotional, mental, spiritual). Strong emphasis on the breath as initiator and responder of movement, as function, as metaphor, and as a source of musical accompaniment.

#rememberingramdass circa 2001-Thank you Ram Dass for blessing my son in my womb. His father, your mentee, one of my soulmates, introduced me to your wisdom at age 22.... I read most of your books and they guided me psychologically and spiritually. At 28, I reunited with Sherman and we conceived our son a year later. Your loving presence and availability to us in the early years will always be imprinted on my heart. With gratitude for all of the fierce grace we wrestle with on earth... the separation is only physical and we learn to rest within the “Great Alone”. Rest in peace and free from bodily pain dear Ram Dass.
