April,

I’m sitting on the couch in our vacation rental, watching trashy reality tv while you are knocked the fuck out on the other side. This is one of my favorite ways to spend time with you: in our pjs, trashy tv on, empty takeout boxes on the coffee table, while we sit in comfortable silence, doing our own thing (usually on our phones). Some people might think this is lame, but to me, it’s the perfect representation of how we don’t need anything special to have a good time, just each other.
You are my best friend, my sister, my person. Every day of my life is better because you are in it. Every grocery trip, every day of body doubling while the other does housework, every concert, every road trip, I am glad to spend with you. You make me laugh, you make me smile, you make me feel appreciated, and seen, and understood. You get me in a way that very few people do.
You are one of the strongest and bravest people I know, a true girl boss in every sense of the word. You bring dedication and integrity to everything that you do, and I couldn’t be more proud of the person you’ve become, especially in the last year. You inspire me every day.
I could go on with this sappy shit for hours, telling you how much you mean to me, but I’ll just cut myself off here, and say it very simply.
**Happy Birthday, I love you, and I hope your day is as special as you are. You deserve all of the best things in life, every day, but especially today.**

Last bit of Ice Nine Kills at @inkcarcerationfestival, Mansfield, OH 7/19/26
(Slide 4…Yeah, you judo punch that smoke, bud! 😆)

Plus my other random pics of stuff from the festival!
(Slide 9 is the first real public outing for my thigh tatt)

Some of you may know I’m a connoisseur of funky socks (currently wearing socks with Snoopy holding an ice cream cone), so I always have to peep what socks @spencerink is wearing during these shows. I thought it was pretty fitting that he’s wearing Misfits socks on the day he took pics with Doyle. (Last slide) 10/10 being super meta.

Took a trip with Pookie (@pineaprilexpress) to see @bringmethehorizon in Baltimore. Got some *very* seasoned hashbrowns. Said FU to DC and the government. Saw @motionlessinwhite again. Didn’t hear Pink Pony Club. Did my first circle pit. (Oli is right, it’s safe, easy, and fun) Met and hugged @olobersykes. All in all, a pretty solid trip.

Ok, everyone just excuse me for one minute while I get a little cheesy and sappy and dorky right now.

My last band pic has been taken, and now my amazing year of @iceninekills concerts has come to an end. I was fortunate enough to get to see my favorite people (with my favorite person, @pineaprilexpress) **16** times this year, and had the RIP experiences you see in these pics.
I can’t really put into words how much this band means to me, and I’m so thankful that I have the ability to travel all over to see them. There’s nowhere I feel quite as ME as I do at an INK show.
So, thank you @spencerink @rickyarmellino @adamreed.wav @milesdimitribaker @joeoqt @mikechardcore (though we’ve yet to officially meet) AND @mattappleton (Matt, I can’t believe I forgot you, please forgive me) PLUS the amazing @michaelmeaney_ @francadellic @twomillionblunts @lanenobriga and @sahrface for being the best around, and what I look forward to most every year.
Also, thanks for introducing me to @tfp_devotion who I also love so very much.

I can’t wait to do this all over again next year, and I’ll be counting down the days til we see each other again!

I love you all so bad. 🖤🖤🖤
